2 Chronicles Chapter 6 ãÌÄáÀøÅé äÇéÌÈîÄéí á

à  àÈæ, àÈîÇø ùÑÀìÉîÉä:  éÀäåÈä àÈîÇø, ìÄùÑÀëÌåÉï áÌÈòÂøÈôÆì. 1 Then spoke Solomon: The LORD hath said that He would dwell in the thick darkness.
á  åÇàÂðÄé áÌÈðÄéúÄé áÅéú-æÀáËì, ìÈêÀ; åÌîÈëåÉï ìÀùÑÄáÀúÌÀêÈ, òåÉìÈîÄéí. 2 But I have built Thee a house of habitation, and a place for Thee to dwell in for ever.
â  åÇéÌÇñÌÅá äÇîÌÆìÆêÀ, àÆú-ôÌÈðÈéå, åÇéÀáÈøÆêÀ, àÅú ëÌÈì-÷ÀäÇì éÄùÒÀøÈàÅì; åÀëÈì-÷ÀäÇì éÄùÒÀøÈàÅì, òåÉîÅã. 3 And the king turned his face, and blessed all the congregation of Israel; and all the congregation of Israel stood.
ã  åÇéÌÉàîÆø, áÌÈøåÌêÀ éÀäåÈä àÁìÉäÅé éÄùÒÀøÈàÅì, àÂùÑÆø ãÌÄáÌÆø áÌÀôÄéå, àÅú ãÌÈåÄéã àÈáÄé; åÌáÀéÈãÈéå îÄìÌÅà, ìÅàîÉø. 4 And he said: 'Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, who spoke with His mouth unto David my father, and hath with His hands fulfilled it, saying:
ä  îÄï-äÇéÌåÉí, àÂùÑÆø äåÉöÅàúÄé àÆú-òÇîÌÄé îÅàÆøÆõ îÄöÀøÇéÄí, ìÉà-áÈçÇøÀúÌÄé áÀòÄéø îÄëÌÉì ùÑÄáÀèÅé éÄùÒÀøÈàÅì, ìÄáÀðåÉú áÌÇéÄú ìÄäÀéåÉú ùÑÀîÄé ùÑÈí; åÀìÉà-áÈçÇøÀúÌÄé áÀàÄéùÑ, ìÄäÀéåÉú ðÈâÄéã òÇì-òÇîÌÄé éÄùÒÀøÈàÅì. 5 Since the day that I brought forth My people out of the land of Egypt, I chose no city out of all the tribes of Israel to build a house in, that My name might be there; neither chose I any man to be prince over My people Israel;
å  åÈàÆáÀçÇø, áÌÄéøåÌùÑÈìÇÄí, ìÄäÀéåÉú ùÑÀîÄé, ùÑÈí; åÈàÆáÀçÇø áÌÀãÈåÄéã, ìÄäÀéåÉú òÇì-òÇîÌÄé éÄùÒÀøÈàÅì. 6 but I have chosen Jerusalem, that My name might be there; and have chosen David to be over My people Israel.
æ  åÇéÀäÄé, òÄí-ìÀáÇá ãÌÈåÄéã àÈáÄé, ìÄáÀðåÉú áÌÇéÄú, ìÀùÑÅí éÀäåÈä àÁìÉäÅé éÄùÒÀøÈàÅì. 7 Now it was in the heart of David my father to build a house for the name of the LORD, the God of Israel.
ç  åÇéÌÉàîÆø éÀäåÈä, àÆì-ãÌÈåÄéã àÈáÄé, éÇòÇï àÂùÑÆø äÈéÈä òÄí-ìÀáÈáÀêÈ, ìÄáÀðåÉú áÌÇéÄú ìÄùÑÀîÄé--äÁèÄéáåÉúÈ, ëÌÄé äÈéÈä òÄí-ìÀáÈáÆêÈ. 8 But the LORD said unto David my father: Whereas it was in thy heart to build a house for My name, thou didst well that it was in thy heart;
è  øÇ÷ àÇúÌÈä, ìÉà úÄáÀðÆä äÇáÌÈéÄú:  ëÌÄé áÄðÀêÈ äÇéÌåÉöÅà îÅçÂìÈöÆéêÈ, äåÌà-éÄáÀðÆä äÇáÌÇéÄú ìÄùÑÀîÄé. 9 nevertheless thou shalt not build the house, but thy son that shall come forth out of thy loins, he shall build the house for My name.
é  åÇéÌÈ÷Æí éÀäåÈä, àÆú-ãÌÀáÈøåÉ àÂùÑÆø ãÌÄáÌÅø; åÈàÈ÷åÌí úÌÇçÇú ãÌÈåÄéã àÈáÄé åÈàÅùÑÅá òÇì-ëÌÄñÌÅà éÄùÒÀøÈàÅì, ëÌÇàÂùÑÆø ãÌÄáÌÆø éÀäåÈä, åÈàÆáÀðÆä äÇáÌÇéÄú, ìÀùÑÅí éÀäåÈä àÁìÉäÅé éÄùÒÀøÈàÅì. 10 And the LORD hath established His word that He spoke; for I am risen up in the room of David my father, and sit on the throne of Israel, as the LORD promised, and have built the house for the name of the LORD, the God of Israel.
éà  åÈàÈùÒÄéí ùÑÈí àÆú-äÈàÈøåÉï, àÂùÑÆø-ùÑÈí áÌÀøÄéú éÀäåÈä, àÂùÑÆø ëÌÈøÇú, òÄí-áÌÀðÅé éÄùÒÀøÈàÅì. 11 And there have I set the ark, wherein is the covenant of the LORD, which He made with the children of Israel.'
éá  åÇéÌÇòÂîÉã, ìÄôÀðÅé îÄæÀáÌÇç éÀäåÈä, ðÆâÆã, ëÌÈì-÷ÀäÇì éÄùÒÀøÈàÅì; åÇéÌÄôÀøÉùÒ, ëÌÇôÌÈéå. 12 And he stood before the altar of the LORD in the presence of all the congregation of Israel, and spread forth his hands--
éâ  ëÌÄé-òÈùÒÈä ùÑÀìÉîÉä ëÌÄéÌåÉø ðÀçÉùÑÆú, åÇéÌÄúÌÀðÅäåÌ áÌÀúåÉêÀ äÈòÂæÈøÈä--çÈîÅùÑ àÇîÌåÉú àÈøÀëÌåÉ åÀçÈîÅùÑ àÇîÌåÉú øÈçÀáÌåÉ, åÀàÇîÌåÉú ùÑÈìåÉùÑ ÷åÉîÈúåÉ; åÇéÌÇòÂîÉã òÈìÈéå, åÇéÌÄáÀøÇêÀ òÇì-áÌÄøÀëÌÈéå ðÆâÆã ëÌÈì-÷ÀäÇì éÄùÒÀøÈàÅì, åÇéÌÄôÀøÉùÒ ëÌÇôÌÈéå, äÇùÌÑÈîÈéÀîÈä.  {ô} 13 for Solomon had made a brazen scaffold, of five cubits long, and five cubits broad, and three cubits high, and had set it in the midst of the court; and upon it he stood, and kneeled down upon his knees before all the congregation of Israel, and spread forth his hands toward heaven-- {P}

éÀäåÈä àÁìÉäÅé éÄùÒÀøÈàÅì àÅéï-ëÌÈîåÉêÈ àÁìÉäÄéí--áÌÇùÌÑÈîÇéÄí, åÌáÈàÈøÆõ:  ùÑÉîÅø äÇáÌÀøÄéú, åÀäÇçÆñÆã, ìÇòÂáÈãÆéêÈ, äÇäÉìÀëÄéí ìÀôÈðÆéêÈ áÌÀëÈì-ìÄáÌÈí.
14 and he said: {P}
 
'O LORD, the God of Israel, there is no God like Thee, in the heaven, or in the earth; who keepest covenant and mercy with Thy servants, that walk before Thee with all their heart;
èå  àÂùÑÆø ùÑÈîÇøÀúÌÈ, ìÀòÇáÀãÌÀêÈ ãÌÈåÄéã àÈáÄé, àÅú àÂùÑÆø-ãÌÄáÌÇøÀúÌÈ, ìåÉ; åÇúÌÀãÇáÌÅø áÌÀôÄéêÈ åÌáÀéÈãÀêÈ îÄìÌÅàúÈ, ëÌÇéÌåÉí äÇæÌÆä. 15 who hast kept with Thy servant David my father that which Thou didst promise him; yea, Thou spokest with Thy mouth, and hast fulfilled it with Thy hand, as it is this day.
èæ  åÀòÇúÌÈä éÀäåÈä àÁìÉäÅé éÄùÒÀøÈàÅì, ùÑÀîÉø ìÀòÇáÀãÌÀêÈ ãÈåÄéã àÈáÄé àÅú àÂùÑÆø ãÌÄáÌÇøÀúÌÈ ìÌåÉ ìÅàîÉø, ìÉà-éÄëÌÈøÅú ìÀêÈ àÄéùÑ îÄìÌÀôÈðÇé, éåÉùÑÅá òÇì-ëÌÄñÌÅà éÄùÒÀøÈàÅì:  øÇ÷ àÄí-éÄùÑÀîÀøåÌ áÈðÆéêÈ àÆú-ãÌÇøÀëÌÈí, ìÈìÆëÆú áÌÀúåÉøÈúÄé, ëÌÇàÂùÑÆø äÈìÇëÀúÌÈ, ìÀôÈðÈé. 16 Now therefore, O LORD, the God of Israel, keep with Thy servant David my father that which Thou hast promised him, saying: There shall not fail thee a man in My sight to sit on the throne of Israel; if only thy children take heed to their way, to walk in My law as thou hast walked before Me.
éæ  åÀòÇúÌÈä, éÀäåÈä àÁìÉäÅé éÄùÒÀøÈàÅì:  éÅàÈîÅï, ãÌÀáÈøÀêÈ, àÂùÑÆø ãÌÄáÌÇøÀúÌÈ, ìÀòÇáÀãÌÀêÈ ìÀãÈåÄéã. 17 Now therefore, O LORD, the God of Israel, let Thy word be verified, which Thou spokest unto Thy servant David.
éç  ëÌÄé, äÇàËîÀðÈí, éÅùÑÅá àÁìÉäÄéí àÆú-äÈàÈãÈí, òÇì-äÈàÈøÆõ:  äÄðÌÅä ùÑÈîÇéÄí åÌùÑÀîÅé äÇùÌÑÈîÇéÄí, ìÉà éÀëÇìÀëÌÀìåÌêÈ--àÇó, ëÌÄé-äÇáÌÇéÄú äÇæÌÆä àÂùÑÆø áÌÈðÄéúÄé. 18 But will God in very truth dwell with men on the earth? behold, heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain Thee; how much less this house which I have builded!
éè  åÌôÈðÄéúÈ àÆì-úÌÀôÄìÌÇú òÇáÀãÌÀêÈ, åÀàÆì-úÌÀçÄðÌÈúåÉ--éÀäåÈä àÁìÉäÈé:  ìÄùÑÀîÉòÇ àÆì-äÈøÄðÌÈä åÀàÆì-äÇúÌÀôÄìÌÈä, àÂùÑÆø òÇáÀãÌÀêÈ îÄúÀôÌÇìÌÅì ìÀôÈðÆéêÈ. 19 Yet have Thou respect unto the prayer of Thy servant, and to his supplication, O LORD my God, to hearken unto the cry and to the prayer which Thy servant prayeth before Thee;
ë  ìÄäÀéåÉú òÅéðÆéêÈ ôÀúËçåÉú àÆì-äÇáÌÇéÄú äÇæÌÆä, éåÉîÈí åÈìÇéÀìÈä--àÆì-äÇîÌÈ÷åÉí, àÂùÑÆø àÈîÇøÀúÌÈ ìÈùÒåÌí ùÑÄîÀêÈ ùÑÈí:  ìÄùÑÀîåÉòÇ, àÆì-äÇúÌÀôÄìÌÈä, àÂùÑÆø éÄúÀôÌÇìÌÅì òÇáÀãÌÀêÈ, àÆì-äÇîÌÈ÷åÉí äÇæÌÆä. 20 that Thine eyes may be open toward this house day and night, even toward the place whereof Thou hast said that thou wouldest put Thy name there; to hearken unto the prayer which Thy servant shall pray toward this place.
ëà  åÀùÑÈîÇòÀúÌÈ àÆì-úÌÇçÂðåÌðÅé òÇáÀãÌÀêÈ, åÀòÇîÌÀêÈ éÄùÒÀøÈàÅì, àÂùÑÆø éÄúÀôÌÇìÀìåÌ, àÆì-äÇîÌÈ÷åÉí äÇæÌÆä; åÀàÇúÌÈä úÌÄùÑÀîÇò îÄîÌÀ÷åÉí ùÑÄáÀúÌÀêÈ, îÄï-äÇùÌÑÈîÇéÄí--åÀùÑÈîÇòÀúÌÈ, åÀñÈìÈçÀúÌÈ. 21 And hearken Thou to the supplications of Thy servant, and of Thy people Israel, when they shall pray toward this place; yea, hear Thou from Thy dwelling-place, even from heaven; and when Thou hearest, forgive.
ëá  àÄí-éÆçÁèÈà àÄéùÑ ìÀøÅòÅäåÌ, åÀðÈùÑÈà-áåÉ àÈìÈä ìÀäÇàÂìÉúåÉ; åÌáÈà, àÈìÈä ìÄôÀðÅé îÄæÀáÌÇçÂêÈ--áÌÇáÌÇéÄú äÇæÌÆä. 22 If a man sin against his neighbour, and an oath be exacted of him to cause him to swear, and he come and swear before Thine altar in this house;
ëâ  åÀàÇúÌÈä úÌÄùÑÀîÇò îÄï-äÇùÌÑÈîÇéÄí, åÀòÈùÒÄéúÈ åÀùÑÈôÇèÀúÌÈ àÆú-òÂáÈãÆéêÈ, ìÀäÈùÑÄéá ìÀøÈùÑÈò, ìÈúÅú ãÌÇøÀëÌåÉ áÌÀøÉàùÑåÉ; åÌìÀäÇöÀãÌÄé÷ öÇãÌÄé÷, ìÈúÆú ìåÉ ëÌÀöÄãÀ÷ÈúåÉ.  {ñ} 23 then hear Thou from heaven, and do, and judge Thy servants, requiting the wicked, to bring his way upon his own head; and justifying the righteous, to give him according to his righteousness. {S}
ëã  åÀàÄí-éÄðÌÈâÅó òÇîÌÀêÈ éÄùÒÀøÈàÅì, ìÄôÀðÅé àåÉéÅá--ëÌÄé éÆçÆèÀàåÌ-ìÈêÀ; åÀùÑÈáåÌ åÀäåÉãåÌ àÆú-ùÑÀîÆêÈ, åÀäÄúÀôÌÇìÀìåÌ åÀäÄúÀçÇðÌÀðåÌ ìÀôÈðÆéêÈ áÌÇáÌÇéÄú äÇæÌÆä. 24 And if Thy people Israel be smitten down before the enemy, when they sin against Thee, and shall turn again and confess Thy name, and pray and make supplication before Thee in this house;
ëä  åÀàÇúÌÈä, úÌÄùÑÀîÇò îÄï-äÇùÌÑÈîÇéÄí, åÀñÈìÇçÀúÌÈ, ìÀçÇèÌÇàú òÇîÌÀêÈ éÄùÒÀøÈàÅì; åÇäÂùÑÅéáåÉúÈí, àÆì-äÈàÂãÈîÈä, àÂùÑÆø-ðÈúÇúÌÈä ìÈäÆí, åÀìÇàÂáÉúÅéäÆí.  {ô} 25 then hear Thou from heaven, and forgive the sin of Thy people Israel, and bring them back unto the land which Thou gavest to them and to their fathers. {P}
ëå  áÌÀäÅòÈöÅø äÇùÌÑÈîÇéÄí åÀìÉà-éÄäÀéÆä îÈèÈø, ëÌÄé éÆçÆèÀàåÌ-ìÈêÀ; åÀäÄúÀôÌÇìÀìåÌ àÆì-äÇîÌÈ÷åÉí äÇæÌÆä, åÀäåÉãåÌ àÆú-ùÑÀîÆêÈ--îÅçÇèÌÈàúÈí éÀùÑåÌáåÌï, ëÌÄé úÇòÂðÅí. 26 When the heaven is shut up, and there is no rain, when they sin against Thee; if they pray toward this place, and confess Thy name, turning from their sin, when Thou dost afflict them;
ëæ  åÀàÇúÌÈä úÌÄùÑÀîÇò äÇùÌÑÈîÇéÄí, åÀñÈìÇçÀúÌÈ ìÀçÇèÌÇàú òÂáÈãÆéêÈ åÀòÇîÌÀêÈ éÄùÒÀøÈàÅì--ëÌÄé úåÉøÅí àÆì-äÇãÌÆøÆêÀ äÇèÌåÉáÈä, àÂùÑÆø éÅìÀëåÌ-áÈäÌ; åÀðÈúÇúÌÈä îÈèÈø òÇì-àÇøÀöÀêÈ, àÂùÑÆø-ðÈúÇúÌÈä ìÀòÇîÌÀêÈ ìÀðÇçÂìÈä.  {ñ} 27 then hear Thou in heaven, and forgive the sin of Thy servants, and of Thy people Israel, when Thou dost direct them on the good way wherein they should walk; and send rain upon Thy land, which Thou hast given to Thy people for an inheritance. {S}
ëç  øÈòÈá ëÌÄé-éÄäÀéÆä áÈàÈøÆõ, ãÌÆáÆø ëÌÄé-éÄäÀéÆä ùÑÄãÌÈôåÉï åÀéÅøÈ÷åÉï àÇøÀáÌÆä åÀçÈñÄéì ëÌÄé éÄäÀéÆä, ëÌÄé éÈöÇø-ìåÉ àÉéÀáÈéå, áÌÀàÆøÆõ ùÑÀòÈøÈéå:  ëÌÈì-ðÆâÇò, åÀëÈì-îÇçÂìÈä. 28 If there be in the land famine, if there be pestilence, if there be blasting or mildew, locust or caterpillar; if their enemies besiege them in the land of their cities; whatsoever plague or whatsoever sickness there be;
ëè  ëÌÈì-úÌÀôÄìÌÈä ëÈì-úÌÀçÄðÌÈä, àÂùÑÆø éÄäÀéÆä ìÀëÈì-äÈàÈãÈí, åÌìÀëÉì, òÇîÌÀêÈ éÄùÒÀøÈàÅì--àÂùÑÆø éÅãÀòåÌ, àÄéùÑ ðÄâÀòåÉ åÌîÇëÀàÉáåÉ, åÌôÈøÇùÒ ëÌÇôÌÈéå, àÆì-äÇáÌÇéÄú äÇæÌÆä. 29 what prayer and supplication soever be made by any man, or by all Thy people Israel, who shall know every man his own plague and his own pain, and shall spread forth his hands toward this house;
ì  åÀàÇúÌÈä úÌÄùÑÀîÇò îÄï-äÇùÌÑÈîÇéÄí îÀëåÉï ùÑÄáÀúÌÆêÈ, åÀñÈìÇçÀúÌÈ, åÀðÈúÇúÌÈä ìÈàÄéùÑ ëÌÀëÈì-ãÌÀøÈëÈéå, àÂùÑÆø úÌÅãÇò àÆú-ìÀáÈáåÉ:  ëÌÄé àÇúÌÈä ìÀáÇãÌÀêÈ éÈãÇòÀúÌÈ, àÆú-ìÀáÇá áÌÀðÅé äÈàÈãÈí. 30 then hear Thou from heaven Thy dwelling-place, and forgive, and render unto every man according to all his ways, whose heart Thou knowest--for Thou, even Thou only, knowest the hearts of the children of men--
ìà  ìÀîÇòÇï éÄéøÈàåÌêÈ, ìÈìÆëÆú áÌÄãÀøÈëÆéêÈ, ëÌÈì-äÇéÌÈîÄéí, àÂùÑÆø-äÅí çÇéÌÄéí òÇì-ôÌÀðÅé äÈàÂãÈîÈä--àÂùÑÆø ðÈúÇúÌÈä, ìÇàÂáÉúÅéðåÌ.  {ñ} 31 that they may fear Thee, to walk in Thy ways, all the days that they live in the land which Thou gavest unto our fathers. {S}
ìá  åÀâÇí àÆì-äÇðÌÈëÀøÄé, àÂùÑÆø ìÉà îÅòÇîÌÀêÈ éÄùÒÀøÈàÅì äåÌà, åÌáÈà îÅàÆøÆõ øÀçåÉ÷Èä ìÀîÇòÇï ùÑÄîÀêÈ äÇâÌÈãåÉì åÀéÈãÀêÈ äÇçÂæÈ÷Èä, åÌæÀøåÉòÂêÈ äÇðÌÀèåÌéÈä; åÌáÈàåÌ åÀäÄúÀôÌÇìÀìåÌ, àÆì-äÇáÌÇéÄú äÇæÌÆä. 32 Moreover concerning the stranger, that is not of Thy people Israel, when be shall come out of a far country for Thy great name's sake, and Thy mighty hand, and Thine outstretched arm; when they shall come and pray toward this house;
ìâ  åÀàÇúÌÈä úÌÄùÑÀîÇò îÄï-äÇùÌÑÈîÇéÄí, îÄîÌÀëåÉï ùÑÄáÀúÌÆêÈ, åÀòÈùÒÄéúÈ, ëÌÀëÉì àÂùÑÆø-éÄ÷ÀøÈà àÅìÆéêÈ äÇðÌÈëÀøÄé:  ìÀîÇòÇï éÅãÀòåÌ ëÈì-òÇîÌÅé äÈàÈøÆõ àÆú-ùÑÀîÆêÈ, åÌìÀéÄøÀàÈä àÉúÀêÈ ëÌÀòÇîÌÀêÈ éÄùÒÀøÈàÅì, åÀìÈãÇòÇú, ëÌÄé-ùÑÄîÀêÈ ðÄ÷ÀøÈà òÇì-äÇáÌÇéÄú äÇæÌÆä àÂùÑÆø áÌÈðÄéúÄé. 33 then hear Thou from heaven, even from Thy dwelling-place, and do according to all that the stranger calleth to Thee for; that all the peoples of the earth may know Thy name, and fear Thee, as doth Thy people Israel, and that they may know that Thy name is called upon this house which I have built.
ìã  ëÌÄé-éÅöÅà òÇîÌÀêÈ ìÇîÌÄìÀçÈîÈä òÇì-àÉéÀáÈéå, áÌÇãÌÆøÆêÀ àÂùÑÆø úÌÄùÑÀìÈçÅí; åÀäÄúÀôÌÇìÀìåÌ àÅìÆéêÈ, ãÌÆøÆêÀ äÈòÄéø äÇæÌÉàú àÂùÑÆø áÌÈçÇøÀúÌÈ áÌÈäÌ, åÀäÇáÌÇéÄú, àÂùÑÆø-áÌÈðÄéúÄé ìÄùÑÀîÆêÈ. 34 If Thy people go out to battle against their enemies, by whatsoever way Thou shalt send them, and they pray unto Thee toward this city which Thou hast chosen, and the house which I have built for Thy name;
ìä  åÀùÑÈîÇòÀúÌÈ, îÄï-äÇùÌÑÈîÇéÄí, àÆú-úÌÀôÄìÌÈúÈí, åÀàÆú-úÌÀçÄðÌÈúÈí; åÀòÈùÒÄéúÈ, îÄùÑÀôÌÈèÈí. 35 then hear Thou from heaven their prayer and their supplication, and maintain their cause.
ìå  ëÌÄé éÆçÆèÀàåÌ-ìÈêÀ, ëÌÄé àÅéï àÈãÈí àÂùÑÆø ìÉà-éÆçÁèÈà, åÀàÈðÇôÀúÌÈ áÈí, åÌðÀúÇúÌÈí ìÄôÀðÅé àåÉéÅá; åÀùÑÈáåÌí ùÑåÉáÅéäÆí àÆì-àÆøÆõ øÀçåÉ÷Èä, àåÉ ÷ÀøåÉáÈä. 36 If they sin against Thee--for there is no man that sinneth not--and Thou be angry with them, and deliver them to the enemy, so that they carry them away captive unto a land far off or near;
ìæ  åÀäÅùÑÄéáåÌ, àÆì-ìÀáÈáÈí, áÌÈàÈøÆõ, àÂùÑÆø ðÄùÑÀáÌåÌ-ùÑÈí; åÀùÑÈáåÌ åÀäÄúÀçÇðÌÀðåÌ àÅìÆéêÈ, áÌÀàÆøÆõ ùÑÄáÀéÈí ìÅàîÉø, çÈèÈàðåÌ äÆòÁåÄéðåÌ, åÀøÈùÑÈòÀðåÌ. 37 yet if they shall bethink themselves in the land whither they are carried captive, and turn, and make supplication unto Thee in the land of their captivity, saying: We have sinned, we have done iniquitously, and have dealt wickedly;
ìç  åÀùÑÈáåÌ àÅìÆéêÈ, áÌÀëÈì-ìÄáÌÈí åÌáÀëÈì-ðÇôÀùÑÈí, áÌÀàÆøÆõ ùÑÄáÀéÈí, àÂùÑÆø-ùÑÈáåÌ àÉúÈí; åÀäÄúÀôÌÇìÀìåÌ, ãÌÆøÆêÀ àÇøÀöÈí àÂùÑÆø ðÈúÇúÌÈä ìÇàÂáåÉúÈí, åÀäÈòÄéø àÂùÑÆø áÌÈçÇøÀúÌÈ, åÀìÇáÌÇéÄú àÂùÑÆø-áÌÈðÄéúÄé ìÄùÑÀîÆêÈ. 38 if they return unto Thee with all their heart and with all their soul in the land of their captivity, whither they have carried them captive, and pray toward their land, which Thou gavest unto their fathers, and the city which Thou hast chosen, and toward the house which I have built for Thy name;
ìè  åÀùÑÈîÇòÀúÌÈ îÄï-äÇùÌÑÈîÇéÄí îÄîÌÀëåÉï ùÑÄáÀúÌÀêÈ, àÆú-úÌÀôÄìÌÈúÈí åÀàÆú-úÌÀçÄðÌÉúÅéäÆí, åÀòÈùÒÄéúÈ, îÄùÑÀôÌÈèÈí; åÀñÈìÇçÀúÌÈ ìÀòÇîÌÀêÈ, àÂùÑÆø çÈèÀàåÌ-ìÈêÀ. 39 then hear Thou from heaven, even from Thy dwelling-place, their prayer and their supplications, and maintain their cause; and forgive Thy people who have sinned against Thee.
î  òÇúÌÈä àÁìÉäÇé, éÄäÀéåÌ-ðÈà òÅéðÆéêÈ ôÌÀúËçåÉú, åÀàÈæÀðÆéêÈ, ÷ÇùÌÑËáåÉú--ìÄúÀôÄìÌÇú, äÇîÌÈ÷åÉí äÇæÌÆä.  {ñ} 40 Now, O my God, let, I beseech Thee, Thine eyes be open, and let Thine ears be attent, unto the prayer that is made in this place. {S}
îà  åÀòÇúÌÈä, ÷åÌîÈä éÀäåÈä àÁìÉäÄéí ìÀðåÌçÆêÈ--àÇúÌÈä, åÇàÂøåÉï òËæÌÆêÈ; ëÌÉäÂðÆéêÈ éÀäåÈä àÁìÉäÄéí, éÄìÀáÌÀùÑåÌ úÀùÑåÌòÈä, åÇçÂñÄéãÆéêÈ, éÄùÒÀîÀçåÌ áÇèÌåÉá. 41 Now therefore arise, O LORD God, into Thy resting-place, Thou, and the ark of Thy strength; let Thy priests, O LORD God, be clothed with salvation, and let Thy saints rejoice in good.
îá  éÀäåÈä àÁìÉäÄéí, àÇì-úÌÈùÑÅá ôÌÀðÅé îÀùÑÄéçÆêÈ:  æÈëÀøÈä, ìÀçÇñÀãÅé ãÌÈåÄéã òÇáÀãÌÆêÈ.  {ô} 42 O LORD God, turn not away the face of Thine anointed; remember the good deeds of David Thy servant.' {P}
