2 Chronicles Chapter 28 ãÌÄáÀøÅé äÇéÌÈîÄéí á

à  áÌÆï-òÆùÒÀøÄéí ùÑÈðÈä, àÈçÈæ áÌÀîÈìÀëåÉ, åÀùÑÅùÑ-òÆùÒÀøÅä ùÑÈðÈä, îÈìÇêÀ áÌÄéøåÌùÑÈìÈÄí; åÀìÉà-òÈùÒÈä äÇéÌÈùÑÈø áÌÀòÅéðÅé éÀäåÈä, ëÌÀãÈåÄéã àÈáÄéå. 1 Ahaz was twenty years old when he began to reign; and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem; and he did not that which was right in the eyes of the LORD, like David his father;
á  åÇéÌÅìÆêÀ, áÌÀãÇøÀëÅé îÇìÀëÅé éÄùÒÀøÈàÅì; åÀâÇí îÇñÌÅëåÉú òÈùÒÈä, ìÇáÌÀòÈìÄéí. 2 but he walked in the ways of the kings of Israel, and made also molten images for the Baalim.
â  åÀäåÌà äÄ÷ÀèÄéø, áÌÀâÅéà áÆï-äÄðÌÉí; åÇéÌÇáÀòÅø àÆú-áÌÈðÈéå, áÌÈàÅùÑ, ëÌÀúÉòÂáåÉú äÇâÌåÉéÄí, àÂùÑÆø äÉøÄéùÑ éÀäåÈä îÄôÌÀðÅé áÌÀðÅé éÄùÒÀøÈàÅì. 3 Moreover he offered in the valley of the son of Hinnom, and burnt his children in the fire, according to the abominations of the heathen, whom the LORD cast out before the children of Israel.
ã  åÇéÀæÇáÌÅçÇ åÇéÀ÷ÇèÌÅø áÌÇáÌÈîåÉú, åÀòÇì-äÇâÌÀáÈòåÉú, åÀúÇçÇú, ëÌÈì-òÅõ øÇòÂðÈï. 4 And he sacrificed and offered in the high places, and on the hills, and under every leafy tree.
ä  åÇéÌÄúÌÀðÅäåÌ éÀäåÈä àÁìÉäÈéå, áÌÀéÇã îÆìÆêÀ àÂøÈí, åÇéÌÇëÌåÌ-áåÉ, åÇéÌÄùÑÀáÌåÌ îÄîÌÆðÌåÌ ùÑÄáÀéÈä âÀãåÉìÈä åÇéÌÈáÄéàåÌ ãÌÇøÀîÈùÒÆ÷; åÀâÇí áÌÀéÇã-îÆìÆêÀ éÄùÒÀøÈàÅì, ðÄúÌÈï, åÇéÌÇêÀ-áÌåÉ, îÇëÌÈä âÀãåÉìÈä.  {ñ} 5 Wherefore the LORD his God delivered him into the hand of the king of Aram; and they smote him, and carried away of his a great multitude of captives, and brought them to Damascus. And he was also delivered into the hand of the king of Israel, who smote him with a great slaughter. {S}
å  åÇéÌÇäÂøÉâ ôÌÆ÷Çç áÌÆï-øÀîÇìÀéÈäåÌ áÌÄéäåÌãÈä, îÅàÈä åÀòÆùÒÀøÄéí àÆìÆó áÌÀéåÉí àÆçÈã--äÇëÌÉì áÌÀðÅé-çÈéÄì:  áÌÀòÈæÀáÈí, àÆú-éÀäåÈä àÁìÉäÅé àÂáåÉúÈí. 6 For Pekah the son of Remaliah slew in Judah a hundred and twenty thousand in one day, all of them valiant men; because they had forsaken the LORD, the God of their fathers.
æ  åÇéÌÇäÂøÉâ æÄëÀøÄé âÌÄáÌåÉø àÆôÀøÇéÄí, àÆú-îÇòÂùÒÅéÈäåÌ áÌÆï-äÇîÌÆìÆêÀ, åÀàÆú-òÇæÀøÄé÷Èí, ðÀâÄéã äÇáÌÈéÄú; åÀàÆú-àÆìÀ÷ÈðÈä, îÄùÑÀðÅä äÇîÌÆìÆêÀ.  {ñ} 7 And Zichri, a mighty man of Ephraim, slew Maaseiah the king's son, and Azrikam the ruler of the house, and Elkanah that was next to the king. {S}

éâ  åÇéÌÉàîÀøåÌ ìÈäÆí, ìÉà-úÈáÄéàåÌ àÆú-äÇùÌÑÄáÀéÈä äÅðÌÈä--ëÌÄé ìÀàÇùÑÀîÇú éÀäåÈä òÈìÅéðåÌ àÇúÌÆí àÉîÀøÄéí, ìÀäÉñÄéó òÇì-çÇèÌÉàúÅðåÌ åÀòÇì-àÇùÑÀîÈúÅðåÌ:  ëÌÄé-øÇáÌÈä àÇùÑÀîÈä ìÈðåÌ, åÇçÂøåÉï àÈó òÇì-éÄùÒÀøÈàÅì.  {ñ} 13 and said unto them: 'Ye shall not bring in the captives hither; for ye purpose that which will bring upon us guilt against the LORD, to add unto our sins and to our guilt; for our guilt is great, and there is fierce wrath against Israel.' {S}
éã  åÇéÌÇòÂæÉá äÆçÈìåÌõ, àÆú-äÇùÌÑÄáÀéÈä åÀàÆú-äÇáÌÄæÌÈä, ìÄôÀðÅé äÇùÌÒÈøÄéí, åÀëÈì-äÇ÷ÌÈäÈì. 14 So the armed men left the captives and the spoil before the princes and all the congregation.

ëá  åÌáÀòÅú äÈöÅø ìåÉ, åÇéÌåÉñÆó ìÄîÀòåÉì áÌÇéäåÈä:  äåÌà, äÇîÌÆìÆêÀ àÈçÈæ. 22 And in the time of his distress did he act even more treacherously against the LORD, this same king Ahaz.
ëâ  åÇéÌÄæÀáÌÇç, ìÅàìÉäÅé ãÇøÀîÆùÒÆ÷ äÇîÌÇëÌÄéí áÌåÉ, åÇéÌÉàîÆø ëÌÄé àÁìÉäÅé îÇìÀëÅé-àÂøÈí äÅí îÇòÀæÀøÄéí àÉúÈí, ìÈäÆí àÂæÇáÌÅçÇ åÀéÇòÀæÀøåÌðÄé; åÀäÅí äÈéåÌ-ìåÉ ìÀäÇëÀùÑÄéìåÉ, åÌìÀëÈì-éÄùÒÀøÈàÅì. 23 For he sacrificed unto the gods of Damascus, which smote him; and he said: 'Because the gods of the kings of Aram helped them, therefore will I sacrifice to them, that they may help me.' But they were the ruin of him, and of all Israel.
ëã  åÇéÌÆàÁñÉó àÈçÈæ àÆú-ëÌÀìÅé áÅéú-äÈàÁìÉäÄéí, åÇéÀ÷ÇöÌÅõ àÆú-ëÌÀìÅé áÅéú-äÈàÁìÉäÄéí, åÇéÌÄñÀâÌÉø, àÆú-ãÌÇìÀúåÉú áÌÅéú-éÀäåÈä; åÇéÌÇòÇùÒ ìåÉ îÄæÀáÌÀçåÉú áÌÀëÈì-ôÌÄðÌÈä, áÌÄéøåÌùÑÈìÈÄí. 24 And Ahaz gathered together the vessels of the house of God, and cut in pieces the vessels of the house of God, and shut up the doors of the house of the LORD; and he made him altars in every corner of Jerusalem.
ëä  åÌáÀëÈì-òÄéø åÈòÄéø ìÄéäåÌãÈä òÈùÒÈä áÈîåÉú, ìÀ÷ÇèÌÅø ìÅàìÉäÄéí àÂçÅøÄéí; åÇéÌÇëÀòÅñ, àÆú-éÀäåÈä àÁìÉäÅé àÂáÉúÈéå. 25 And in every city of Judah he made high places to offer unto other gods, and provoked the LORD, the God of his fathers.
