1 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying:

á áÌÆï-àÈãÈí, ùÒÄéí ôÌÈðÆéêÈ àÆì-áÌÀðÅé òÇîÌåÉï; åÀäÄðÌÈáÅà, òÂìÅéäÆí.
|
2 'Son of man, set thy face toward the children of Ammon, and prophesy against them;
|
|
â åÀàÈîÇøÀúÌÈ ìÄáÀðÅé òÇîÌåÉï, ùÑÄîÀòåÌ ãÌÀáÇø-àÂãÉðÈé éÀäåÄä: ëÌÉä-àÈîÇø àÂãÉðÈé éÀäåÄä éÇòÇï àÈîÀøÅêÀ äÆàÈç àÆì-îÄ÷ÀãÌÈùÑÄé ëÄé-ðÄçÈì, åÀàÆì-àÇãÀîÇú éÄùÒÀøÈàÅì ëÌÄé ðÈùÑÇîÌÈä, åÀàÆì-áÌÅéú éÀäåÌãÈä, ëÌÄé äÈìÀëåÌ áÌÇâÌåÉìÈä.

3 and say unto the children of Ammon: Hear the word of the Lord GOD: Thus saith the Lord GOD: Because thou saidst: Aha! against My sanctuary, when it was profaned, and against the land of Israel, when it was made desolate, and against the house of Judah, when they went into captivity;
|

ã ìÈëÅï äÄðÀðÄé ðÉúÀðÈêÀ ìÄáÀðÅé-÷ÆãÆí ìÀîåÉøÈùÑÈä, åÀéÄùÌÑÀáåÌ èÄéøåÉúÅéäÆí áÌÈêÀ, åÀðÈúÀðåÌ áÈêÀ, îÄùÑÀëÌÀðÅéäÆí; äÅîÌÈä éÉàëÀìåÌ ôÄøÀéÅêÀ, åÀäÅîÌÈä éÄùÑÀúÌåÌ çÂìÈáÅêÀ.

4 therefore, behold, I will deliver thee to the children of the east for a possession, and they shall set their encampments in thee, and make their dwellings in thee; they shall eat thy fruit, and they shall drink thy milk.
|

ä åÀðÈúÇúÌÄé àÆú-øÇáÌÈä ìÄðÀåÅä âÀîÇìÌÄéí, åÀàÆú-áÌÀðÅé òÇîÌåÉï ìÀîÄøÀáÌÇõ-öÉàï; åÄéãÇòÀúÌÆí, ëÌÄé-àÂðÄé éÀäåÈä. {ô}

5 And I will make Rabbah a pasture for camels, and the children of Ammon a couching-place for flocks; and ye shall know that I am the LORD. {P}
|

å ëÌÄé ëÉä àÈîÇø, àÂãÉðÈé éÀäåÄä, éÇòÇï îÇçÀàÂêÈ éÈã, åÀøÇ÷ÀòÂêÈ áÌÀøÈâÆì; åÇúÌÄùÒÀîÇç áÌÀëÈì-ùÑÈàèÀêÈ áÌÀðÆôÆùÑ, àÆì-àÇãÀîÇú éÄùÒÀøÈàÅì.

6 For thus saith the Lord GOD: Because thou hast clapped thy hands, and stamped with the feet, and rejoiced with all the disdain of thy soul against the land of Israel;
|
|
æ ìÈëÅï äÄðÀðÄé ðÈèÄéúÄé àÆú-éÈãÄé òÈìÆéêÈ, åÌðÀúÇúÌÄéêÈ ìáâ (ìÀáÇæ) ìÇâÌåÉéÄí, åÀäÄëÀøÇúÌÄéêÈ îÄï-äÈòÇîÌÄéí, åÀäÇàÂáÇãÀúÌÄéêÈ îÄï-äÈàÂøÈöåÉú; àÇùÑÀîÄéãÀêÈ, åÀéÈãÇòÀúÌÈ ëÌÄé-àÂðÄé éÀäåÈä. {ô}

7 therefore, behold, I stretch out My hand upon thee, and will deliver thee for a spoil to the nations; and I will cut thee off from the peoples, and I will cause thee to perish out of the countries; I will destroy thee, and thou shalt know that I am the LORD. {P}
|

ç ëÌÉä àÈîÇø, àÂãÉðÈé éÀäåÄä: éÇòÇï, àÂîÉø îåÉàÈá åÀùÒÅòÄéø, äÄðÌÅä ëÌÀëÈì-äÇâÌåÉéÄí, áÌÅéú éÀäåÌãÈä.

8 Thus saith the Lord GOD: Because that Moab and Seir do say: Behold, the house of Judah is like unto all the nations,
|
|
è ìÈëÅï äÄðÀðÄé ôÉúÅçÇ àÆú-ëÌÆúÆó îåÉàÈá, îÅäÆòÈøÄéí--îÅòÈøÈéå, îÄ÷ÌÈöÅäåÌ: öÀáÄé, àÆøÆõ áÌÅéú äÇéÀùÑÄéîÉú--áÌÇòÇì îÀòåÉï, å÷øéúîä (åÀ÷ÄøÀéÈúÈéÀîÈä).

9 therefore, behold, I will open the flank of Moab on the side of the cities, on the side of his cities which are on his frontiers, the beauteous country of Beth-jeshimoth, Baal-meon, and Kiriathaim,
|
|
é ìÄáÀðÅé-÷ÆãÆí òÇì-áÌÀðÅé òÇîÌåÉï, åÌðÀúÇúÌÄéäÈ ìÀîåÉøÈùÑÈä, ìÀîÇòÇï ìÉà-úÄæÌÈëÅø áÌÀðÅé-òÇîÌåÉï, áÌÇâÌåÉéÄí.

10 together with the children of Ammon, unto the children of the east, and I will give them for a possession, that the children of Ammon may not be remembered among the nations;
|
|
éà åÌáÀîåÉàÈá, àÆòÁùÒÆä ùÑÀôÈèÄéí; åÀéÈãÀòåÌ, ëÌÄé-àÂðÄé éÀäåÈä. {ô}
|
11 and I will execute judgments upon Moab; and they shall know that I am the LORD. {P}
|
|
éá ëÌÉä àÈîÇø àÂãÉðÈé éÀäåÄä, éÇòÇï òÂùÒåÉú àÁãåÉí áÌÄðÀ÷Éí ðÈ÷Èí ìÀáÅéú éÀäåÌãÈä--åÇéÌÆàÀùÑÀîåÌ àÈùÑåÉí, åÀðÄ÷ÌÀîåÌ áÈäÆí.

12 Thus saith the Lord GOD: Because that Edom hath dealt against the house of Judah by taking vengeance, and hath greatly offended, and revenged himself upon them;
|
|
éâ ìÈëÅï, ëÌÉä àÈîÇø àÂãÉðÈé éÀäåÄä, åÀðÈèÄúÄé éÈãÄé òÇì-àÁãåÉí, åÀäÄëÀøÇúÌÄé îÄîÌÆðÌÈä àÈãÈí åÌáÀäÅîÈä; åÌðÀúÇúÌÄéäÈ çÈøÀáÌÈä îÄúÌÅéîÈï, åÌãÀãÈðÆä áÌÇçÆøÆá éÄôÌÉìåÌ.

13 therefore thus saith the Lord GOD: I will stretch out My hand upon Edom, and will cut off man and beast from it; and I will make it desolate from Teman, even unto Dedan shall they fall by the sword.
|
|
éã åÀðÈúÇúÌÄé àÆú-ðÄ÷ÀîÈúÄé áÌÆàÁãåÉí, áÌÀéÇã òÇîÌÄé éÄùÒÀøÈàÅì, åÀòÈùÒåÌ áÆàÁãåÉí, ëÌÀàÇôÌÄé åÀëÇçÂîÈúÄé; åÀéÈãÀòåÌ, àÆú-ðÄ÷ÀîÈúÄé--ðÀàËí, àÂãÉðÈé éÀäåÄä.

14 And I will lay My vengeance upon Edom by the hand of My people Israel; and they shall do in Edom according to Mine anger and according to My fury; and they shall know my vengeance, saith the Lord GOD.
|
|
èå ëÌÉä àÈîÇø àÂãÉðÈé éÀäåÄä, éÇòÇï òÂùÒåÉú ôÌÀìÄùÑÀúÌÄéí áÌÄðÀ÷ÈîÈä; åÇéÌÄðÌÈ÷ÀîåÌ ðÈ÷Èí áÌÄùÑÀàÈè áÌÀðÆôÆùÑ, ìÀîÇùÑÀçÄéú àÅéáÇú òåÉìÈí.

15 Thus saith the Lord GOD: Because the Philistines have dealt by revenge, and have taken vengeance with disdain of soul to destroy, for the old hatred;
|
|
èæ ìÈëÅï, ëÌÉä àÈîÇø àÂãÉðÈé éÀäåÄä, äÄðÀðÄé ðåÉèÆä éÈãÄé òÇì-ôÌÀìÄùÑÀúÌÄéí, åÀäÄëÀøÇúÌÄé àÆú-ëÌÀøÅúÄéí; åÀäÇàÂáÇãÀúÌÄé, àÆú-ùÑÀàÅøÄéú çåÉó äÇéÌÈí.

16 therefore thus saith the Lord GOD: Behold, I will stretch out My hand upon the Philistines, and I will cut off the Cherethites, and destroy the remnant of the sea-coast.
|
|
éæ åÀòÈùÒÄéúÄé áÈí ðÀ÷ÈîåÉú âÌÀãÉìåÉú, áÌÀúåÉëÀçåÉú çÅîÈä; åÀéÈãÀòåÌ ëÌÄé-àÂðÄé éÀäåÈä, áÌÀúÄúÌÄé àÆú-ðÄ÷ÀîÈúÄé áÌÈí. {ô}

17 And I will execute great vengeance upon them with furious rebukes; and they shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall lay My vengeance upon them.' {P}
|
