Ezekiel Chapter 21 éÀçÆæÀ÷Åàì

à  åÇéÀäÄé ãÀáÇø-éÀäåÈä, àÅìÇé ìÅàîÉø. 1 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying:
á  áÌÆï-àÈãÈí, ùÒÄéí ôÌÈðÆéêÈ ãÌÆøÆêÀ úÌÅéîÈðÈä, åÀäÇèÌÅó, àÆì-ãÌÈøåÉí; åÀäÄðÌÈáÅà àÆì-éÇòÇø äÇùÌÒÈãÆä, ðÆâÆá. 2 'Son of man, set thy face toward the South, and preach toward the South, and prophesy against the forest of the field in the South;
â  åÀàÈîÇøÀúÌÈ ìÀéÇòÇø äÇðÌÆâÆá, ùÑÀîÇò ãÌÀáÇø-éÀäåÈä:  ëÌÉä-àÈîÇø àÂãÉðÈé éÀäåÄä äÄðÀðÄé îÇöÌÄéú-áÌÀêÈ àÅùÑ åÀàÈëÀìÈä áÀêÈ ëÈì-òÅõ-ìÇç åÀëÈì-òÅõ éÈáÅùÑ ìÉà-úÄëÀáÌÆä, ìÇäÆáÆú ùÑÇìÀäÆáÆú, åÀðÄöÀøÀáåÌ-áÈäÌ ëÌÈì-ôÌÈðÄéí, îÄðÌÆâÆá öÈôåÉðÈä. 3 and say to the forest of the South: Hear the word of the LORD: Thus saith the Lord GOD: Behold, I will kindle a fire in thee, and it shall devour every green tree in thee, and every dry tree, it shall not be quenched, even a flaming flame; and all faces from the south to the north shall be seared thereby.
ã  åÀøÈàåÌ, ëÌÈì-áÌÈùÒÈø, ëÌÄé àÂðÄé éÀäåÈä, áÌÄòÇøÀúÌÄéäÈ:  ìÉà, úÌÄëÀáÌÆä. 4 And all flesh shall see that I the LORD have kindled it; it shall not be quenched.'
ä  åÈàÉîÇø, àÂäÈäÌ àÂãÉðÈé éÀäåÄä; äÅîÌÈä àÉîÀøÄéí ìÄé, äÂìÉà îÀîÇùÌÑÅì îÀùÑÈìÄéí äåÌà.  {ô} 5 Then said I: 'Ah Lord GOD! they say of me: Is he not a maker of parables?' {P}
å  åÇéÀäÄé ãÀáÇø-éÀäåÈä, àÅìÇé ìÅàîÉø. 6 Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying:
æ  áÌÆï-àÈãÈí, ùÒÄéí ôÌÈðÆéêÈ àÆì-éÀøåÌùÑÈìÇÄí, åÀäÇèÌÅó, àÆì-îÄ÷ÀãÌÈùÑÄéí; åÀäÄðÌÈáÅà, àÆì-àÇãÀîÇú éÄùÒÀøÈàÅì. 7 'Son of man, set thy face toward Jerusalem, and preach toward the sanctuaries, and prophesy against the land of Israel;
ç  åÀàÈîÇøÀúÌÈ ìÀàÇãÀîÇú éÄùÒÀøÈàÅì, ëÌÉä àÈîÇø éÀäåÈä, äÄðÀðÄé àÅìÇéÄêÀ, åÀäåÉöÅàúÄé çÇøÀáÌÄé îÄúÌÇòÀøÈäÌ; åÀäÄëÀøÇúÌÄé îÄîÌÅêÀ, öÇãÌÄé÷ åÀøÈùÑÈò. 8 and say to the land of Israel: Thus saith the LORD: Behold, I am against thee, and will draw forth My sword out of its sheath, and will cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked.
è  éÇòÇï àÂùÑÆø-äÄëÀøÇúÌÄé îÄîÌÅêÀ, öÇãÌÄé÷ åÀøÈùÑÈò; ìÈëÅï úÌÅöÅà çÇøÀáÌÄé îÄúÌÇòÀøÈäÌ, àÆì-ëÌÈì-áÌÈùÒÈø--îÄðÌÆâÆá öÈôåÉï. 9 Seeing then that I will cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked, therefore shall My sword go forth out of its sheath against all flesh from the south to the north;
é  åÀéÈãÀòåÌ, ëÌÈì-áÌÈùÒÈø, ëÌÄé àÂðÄé éÀäåÈä, äåÉöÅàúÄé çÇøÀáÌÄé îÄúÌÇòÀøÈäÌ:  ìÉà úÈùÑåÌá, òåÉã.  {ñ} 10 and all flesh shall know that I the LORD have drawn forth My sword out of its sheath; it shall not return any more. {S}
éà  åÀàÇúÌÈä áÆï-àÈãÈí, äÅàÈðÇç; áÌÀùÑÄáÀøåÉï îÈúÀðÇéÄí åÌáÄîÀøÄéøåÌú, úÌÅàÈðÇç ìÀòÅéðÅéäÆí. 11 Sigh therefore, thou son of man; with the breaking of thy loins and with bitterness shalt thou sigh before their eyes.
éá  åÀäÈéÈä ëÌÄé-éÉàîÀøåÌ àÅìÆéêÈ, òÇì-îÈä àÇúÌÈä ðÆàÁðÈç; åÀàÈîÇøÀúÌÈ àÆì-ùÑÀîåÌòÈä ëÄé-áÈàÈä åÀðÈîÅñ ëÌÈì-ìÅá åÀøÈôåÌ ëÈì-éÈãÇéÄí åÀëÄäÂúÈä ëÈì-øåÌçÇ, åÀëÈì-áÌÄøÀëÌÇéÄí úÌÅìÇëÀðÈä îÌÇéÄí--äÄðÌÅä áÈàÈä åÀðÄäÀéÈúÈä, ðÀàËí àÂãÉðÈé éÀäåÄä.  {ô} 12 And it shall be, when they say unto thee: Wherefore sighest thou? that thou shalt say: Because of the tidings, for it cometh; and every heart shall melt, and all hands shall be slack, and every spirit shall be faint, and all knees shall drip with water; behold, it cometh, and it shall be done, saith the Lord GOD.' {P}
éâ  åÇéÀäÄé ãÀáÇø-éÀäåÈä, àÅìÇé ìÅàîÉø. 13 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying:
éã  áÌÆï-àÈãÈí--äÄðÌÈáÅà åÀàÈîÇøÀúÌÈ, ëÌÉä àÈîÇø àÂãÉðÈé:  àÁîÉø, çÆøÆá çÆøÆá äåÌçÇãÌÈä åÀâÇí-îÀøåÌèÈä. 14 'Son of man, prophesy, and say: Thus saith the LORD: Say: A sword, a sword, it is sharpened, and also furbished:
èå  ìÀîÇòÇï èÀáÉçÇ èÆáÇç äåÌçÇãÌÈä, ìÀîÇòÇï-äÁéÅä-ìÈäÌ áÌÈøÈ÷ îÉøÈèÌÈä; àåÉ ðÈùÒÄéùÒ, ùÑÅáÆè áÌÀðÄé îÉàÆñÆú ëÌÈì-òÅõ. 15 It is sharpened that it may make a sore slaughter, it is furbished that it may glitter--or shall we make mirth?--against the rod of My son, contemning every tree.
èæ  åÇéÌÄúÌÅï àÉúÈäÌ ìÀîÈøÀèÈä, ìÄúÀôÌÉùÒ áÌÇëÌÈó; äÄéà-äåÌçÇãÌÈä çÆøÆá åÀäÄéà îÉøÈèÌÈä, ìÈúÅú àåÉúÈäÌ áÌÀéÇã-äåÉøÅâ. 16 And it is given to be furbished, that it may be handled; the sword, it is sharpened, yea, it is furbished, to give it into the hand of the slayer.
éæ  æÀòÇ÷ åÀäÅéìÅì, áÌÆï-àÈãÈí--ëÌÄé-äÄéà äÈéÀúÈä áÀòÇîÌÄé, äÄéà áÌÀëÈì-ðÀùÒÄéàÅé éÄùÒÀøÈàÅì; îÀâåÌøÅé àÆì-çÆøÆá äÈéåÌ àÆú-òÇîÌÄé, ìÈëÅï ñÀôÉ÷ àÆì-éÈøÅêÀ. 17 Cry and wail, son of man; for it is upon My people, it is upon all the princes of Israel; they are thrust down to the sword with My people; smite therefore upon thy thigh.
éç  ëÌÄé áÉçÇï--åÌîÈä, àÄí-âÌÇí-ùÑÅáÆè îÉàÆñÆú ìÉà éÄäÀéÆä:  ðÀàËí, àÂãÉðÈé éÀäåÄä.  {ô} 18 For there is a trial; and what if it contemn even the rod? It shall be no more, saith the Lord GOD. {P}
éè  åÀàÇúÌÈä áÆï-àÈãÈí--äÄðÌÈáÅà, åÀäÇêÀ ëÌÇó àÆì-ëÌÈó; åÀúÄëÌÈôÅì çÆøÆá ùÑÀìÄéùÑÄúÈä, çÆøÆá çÂìÈìÄéí--äÄéà çÆøÆá çÈìÈì äÇâÌÈãåÉì, äÇçÉãÆøÆú ìÈäÆí. 19 Thou therefore, son of man, prophesy, and smite thy hands together; and let the sword be doubled the third time, the sword of those to be slain; it is the sword of the great one that is to be slain, which compasseth them about.
ë  ìÀîÇòÇï ìÈîåÌâ ìÅá, åÀäÇøÀáÌÅä äÇîÌÄëÀùÑÉìÄéí--òÇì ëÌÈì-ùÑÇòÂøÅéäÆí, ðÈúÇúÌÄé àÄáÀçÇú-çÈøÆá; àÈç òÂùÒåÌéÈä ìÀáÈøÈ÷, îÀòËèÌÈä ìÀèÈáÇç. 20 I have set the point of the sword against all their gates, that their heart may melt, and their stumblings be multiplied; ah! it is made glittering, it is sharpened for slaughter.
ëà  äÄúÀàÇçÂãÄé äÅéîÄðÄé, äÈùÒÄéîÄé äÇùÒÀîÄéìÄé; àÈðÈä, ôÌÈðÇéÄêÀ îËòÈãåÉú. 21 Go thee one way to the right, or direct thyself to the left; whither is thy face set?
ëá  åÀâÇí-àÂðÄé, àÇëÌÆä ëÇôÌÄé àÆì-ëÌÇôÌÄé, åÇäÂðÄéçÉúÄé, çÂîÈúÄé:  àÂðÄé éÀäåÈä, ãÌÄáÌÇøÀúÌÄé.  {ô} 22 I will also smite My hands together, and I will satisfy My fury; I the LORD have spoken it.' {P}
ëâ  åÇéÀäÄé ãÀáÇø-éÀäåÈä, àÅìÇé ìÅàîÉø. 23 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying:
ëã  åÀàÇúÌÈä áÆï-àÈãÈí ùÒÄéí-ìÀêÈ ùÑÀðÇéÄí ãÌÀøÈëÄéí, ìÈáåÉà çÆøÆá îÆìÆêÀ-áÌÈáÆì--îÅàÆøÆõ àÆçÈã, éÅöÀàåÌ ùÑÀðÅéäÆí; åÀéÈã áÌÈøÅà, áÌÀøÉàùÑ ãÌÆøÆêÀ-òÄéø áÌÈøÅà. 24 'Now, thou son of man, make thee two ways, that the sword of the king of Babylon may come; they twain shall come forth out of one land; and mark a signpost, mark it clear at the head of the way to the city.
ëä  ãÌÆøÆêÀ úÌÈùÒÄéí--ìÈáåÉà çÆøÆá, àÅú øÇáÌÇú áÌÀðÅé-òÇîÌåÉï; åÀàÆú-éÀäåÌãÈä áÄéøåÌùÑÈìÇÄí, áÌÀöåÌøÈä. 25 Thou shalt make a way, that the sword may come to Rabbah of the children of Ammon, and to Judah in Jerusalem the fortified.

ëæ  áÌÄéîÄéðåÉ äÈéÈä äÇ÷ÌÆñÆí éÀøåÌùÑÈìÇÄí, ìÈùÒåÌí ëÌÈøÄéí ìÄôÀúÌÉçÇ ôÌÆä áÌÀøÆöÇç, ìÀäÈøÄéí ÷åÉì, áÌÄúÀøåÌòÈä--ìÈùÒåÌí ëÌÈøÄéí òÇì-ùÑÀòÈøÄéí, ìÄùÑÀôÌÉêÀ ñÉìÀìÈä ìÄáÀðåÉú ãÌÈéÅ÷. 27 In his right hand is the lot Jerusalem, to set battering rams, to open the mouth for the slaughter, to lift up the voice with shouting, to set battering rams against the gates, to cast up mounds, to build forts.
