Isaiah Chapter 9 éÀùÑÇòÀéÈäåÌ

à  äÈòÈí äÇäÉìÀëÄéí áÌÇçÉùÑÆêÀ, øÈàåÌ àåÉø âÌÈãåÉì:  éÉùÑÀáÅé áÌÀàÆøÆõ öÇìÀîÈåÆú, àåÉø ðÈâÇäÌ òÂìÅéäÆí. 1 The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light; they that dwelt in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined.
á  äÄøÀáÌÄéúÈ äÇâÌåÉé, ìà (ìåÉ) äÄâÀãÌÇìÀúÌÈ äÇùÌÒÄîÀçÈä; ùÒÈîÀçåÌ ìÀôÈðÆéêÈ ëÌÀùÒÄîÀçÇú áÌÇ÷ÌÈöÄéø, ëÌÇàÂùÑÆø éÈâÄéìåÌ áÌÀçÇìÌÀ÷Èí ùÑÈìÈì. 2 Thou hast multiplied the nation, Thou hast increased their joy; they joy before Thee according to the joy in harvest, as men rejoice when they divide the spoil.
â  ëÌÄé àÆú-òÉì ñËáÌÃìåÉ, åÀàÅú îÇèÌÅä ùÑÄëÀîåÉ, ùÑÅáÆè, äÇðÌÉâÅùÒ áÌåÉ--äÇçÄúÌÉúÈ, ëÌÀéåÉí îÄãÀéÈï. 3 For the yoke of his burden, and the staff of his shoulder, the rod of his oppressor, Thou hast broken as in the day of Midian.
ã  ëÌÄé ëÈì-ñÀàåÉï ñÉàÅï áÌÀøÇòÇùÑ, åÀùÒÄîÀìÈä îÀâåÉìÈìÈä áÀãÈîÄéí; åÀäÈéÀúÈä ìÄùÒÀøÅôÈä, îÇàÂëÉìÆú àÅùÑ. 4 For every boot stamped with fierceness, and every cloak rolled in blood, shall even be for burning, for fuel of fire.
ä  ëÌÄé-éÆìÆã éËìÌÇã-ìÈðåÌ, áÌÅï ðÄúÌÇï-ìÈðåÌ, åÇúÌÀäÄé äÇîÌÄùÒÀøÈä, òÇì-ùÑÄëÀîåÉ; åÇéÌÄ÷ÀøÈà ùÑÀîåÉ ôÌÆìÆà éåÉòÅõ, àÅì âÌÄáÌåÉø, àÂáÄé-òÇã, ùÒÇø-ùÑÈìåÉí. 5 For a child is born unto us, a son is given unto us; and the government is upon his shoulder; and his name is called Pele-joez-el-gibbor-Abi-ad-sar-shalom;
å  ìí øáä (ìÀîÇøÀáÌÅä) äÇîÌÄùÒÀøÈä åÌìÀùÑÈìåÉí àÅéï-÷Åõ, òÇì-ëÌÄñÌÅà ãÈåÄã åÀòÇì-îÇîÀìÇëÀúÌåÉ, ìÀäÈëÄéï àÉúÈäÌ åÌìÀñÇòÂãÈäÌ, áÌÀîÄùÑÀôÌÈè åÌáÄöÀãÈ÷Èä; îÅòÇúÌÈä, åÀòÇã-òåÉìÈí, ÷ÄðÀàÇú éÀäåÈä öÀáÈàåÉú, úÌÇòÂùÒÆä-æÌÉàú.  {ô} 6 That the government may be increased, and of peace there be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to establish it, and to uphold it through justice and through righteousness from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts doth perform this. {P}
æ  ãÌÈáÈø ùÑÈìÇç àÂãÉðÈé, áÌÀéÇòÂ÷Éá; åÀðÈôÇì, áÌÀéÄùÒÀøÈàÅì. 7 The Lord sent a word into Jacob, and it hath lighted upon Israel.
ç  åÀéÈãÀòåÌ äÈòÈí ëÌËìÌåÉ, àÆôÀøÇéÄí åÀéåÉùÑÅá ùÑÉîÀøåÉï, áÌÀâÇàÂåÈä åÌáÀâÉãÆì ìÅáÈá, ìÅàîÉø. 8 And all the people shall know, even Ephraim and the inhabitant of Samaria, that say in pride and in arrogancy of heart:
è  ìÀáÅðÄéí ðÈôÈìåÌ, åÀâÈæÄéú ðÄáÀðÆä; ùÑÄ÷ÀîÄéí âÌËãÌÈòåÌ, åÇàÂøÈæÄéí ðÇçÂìÄéó. 9 'The bricks are fallen, but we will build with hewn stones; the sycamores are cut down, but cedars will we put in their place.'
é  åÇéÀùÒÇâÌÅá éÀäåÈä àÆú-öÈøÅé øÀöÄéï, òÈìÈéå; åÀàÆú-àÉéÀáÈéå, éÀñÇëÀñÅêÀ. 10 Therefore the LORD doth set upon high the adversaries of Rezin against him, and spur his enemies;
éà  àÂøÈí îÄ÷ÌÆãÆí, åÌôÀìÄùÑÀúÌÄéí îÅàÈçåÉø, åÇéÌÉàëÀìåÌ àÆú-éÄùÒÀøÈàÅì, áÌÀëÈì-ôÌÆä; áÌÀëÈì-æÉàú ìÉà-ùÑÈá àÇôÌåÉ, åÀòåÉã éÈãåÉ ðÀèåÌéÈä. 11 The Arameans on the east, and the Philistines on the west; and they devour Israel with open mouth. For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
éá  åÀäÈòÈí ìÉà-ùÑÈá, òÇã-äÇîÌÇëÌÅäåÌ; åÀàÆú-éÀäåÈä öÀáÈàåÉú, ìÉà ãÈøÈùÑåÌ.  {ñ} 12 Yet the people turneth not unto Him that smiteth them, neither do they seek the LORD of hosts. {S}
éâ  åÇéÌÇëÀøÅú éÀäåÈä îÄéÌÄùÒÀøÈàÅì, øÉàùÑ åÀæÈðÈá ëÌÄôÌÈä åÀàÇâÀîåÉï--éåÉí àÆçÈã. 13 Therefore the LORD doth cut off from Israel head and tail, palm-branch and rush, in one day.
éã  æÈ÷Åï åÌðÀùÒåÌà-ôÈðÄéí, äåÌà äÈøÉàùÑ; åÀðÈáÄéà îåÉøÆä-ùÌÑÆ÷Æø, äåÌà äÇæÌÈðÈá. 14 The elder and the man of rank, he is the head; and the prophet that teacheth lies, he is the tail.
èå  åÇéÌÄäÀéåÌ îÀàÇùÌÑÀøÅé äÈòÈí-äÇæÌÆä, îÇúÀòÄéí; åÌîÀàËùÌÑÈøÈéå, îÀáËìÌÈòÄéí. 15 For they that lead this people cause them to err; and they that are led of them are destroyed.
èæ  òÇì-ëÌÅï òÇì-áÌÇçåÌøÈéå ìÉà-éÄùÒÀîÇç àÂãÉðÈé, åÀàÆú-éÀúÉîÈéå åÀàÆú-àÇìÀîÀðåÉúÈéå ìÉà éÀøÇçÅí--ëÌÄé ëËìÌåÉ çÈðÅó åÌîÅøÇò, åÀëÈì-ôÌÆä ãÌÉáÅø ðÀáÈìÈä; áÌÀëÈì-æÉàú ìÉà-ùÑÈá àÇôÌåÉ, åÀòåÉã éÈãåÉ ðÀèåÌéÈä. 16 Therefore the Lord shall have no joy in their young men, neither shall He have compassion on their fatherless and widows; for every one is ungodly and an evil-doer, and every mouth speaketh wantonness. For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
éæ  ëÌÄé-áÈòÂøÈä ëÈàÅùÑ øÄùÑÀòÈä, ùÑÈîÄéø åÈùÑÇéÄú úÌÉàëÅì; åÇúÌÄöÌÇú áÌÀñÄáÀëÅé äÇéÌÇòÇø, åÇéÌÄúÀàÇáÌÀëåÌ âÌÅàåÌú òÈùÑÈï. 17 For wickedness burneth as the fire; it devoureth the briers and thorns; yea, it kindleth in the thickets of the forest, and they roll upward in thick clouds of smoke.
éç  áÌÀòÆáÀøÇú éÀäåÈä öÀáÈàåÉú, ðÆòÀúÌÇí àÈøÆõ; åÇéÀäÄé äÈòÈí ëÌÀîÇàÂëÉìÆú àÅùÑ, àÄéùÑ àÆì-àÈçÄéå ìÉà éÇçÀîÉìåÌ. 18 Through the wrath of the LORD of hosts is the land burnt up; the people also are as the fuel of fire; no man spareth his brother.
éè  åÇéÌÄâÀæÉø òÇì-éÈîÄéï åÀøÈòÅá, åÇéÌÉàëÇì òÇì-ùÒÀîÉàåì åÀìÉà ùÒÈáÅòåÌ:  àÄéùÑ áÌÀùÒÇø-æÀøÉòåÉ, éÉàëÅìåÌ. 19 And one snatcheth on the right hand, and is hungry; and he eateth on the left hand, and is not satisfied; they eat every man the flesh of his own arm:
ë  îÀðÇùÌÑÆä àÆú-àÆôÀøÇéÄí, åÀàÆôÀøÇéÄí àÆú-îÀðÇùÌÑÆä--éÇçÀãÌÈå äÅîÌÈä, òÇì-éÀäåÌãÈä; áÌÀëÈì-æÉàú ìÉà-ùÑÈá àÇôÌåÉ, åÀòåÉã éÈãåÉ ðÀèåÌéÈä.  {ñ} 20 Manasseh, Ephraim; and Ephraim, Manasseh; and they together are against Judah. For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still. {S}
