Jeremiah Chapter 27 éÄøÀîÀéÈäåÌ

à  áÌÀøÅàùÑÄéú, îÇîÀìÆëÆú éÀäåÉéÈ÷Äí áÌÆï-éÉàåùÑÄéÌÈäåÌ--îÆìÆêÀ éÀäåÌãÈä:  äÈéÈä äÇãÌÈáÈø äÇæÌÆä, àÆì-éÄøÀîÀéÈä, îÅàÅú éÀäåÈä, ìÅàîÉø. 1 In the beginning of the reign of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah, came this word unto Jeremiah from the LORD, saying:
á  ëÌÉä-àÈîÇø éÀäåÈä, àÅìÇé, òÂùÒÅä ìÀêÈ, îåÉñÅøåÉú åÌîÉèåÉú; åÌðÀúÇúÌÈí, òÇì-öÇåÌÈàøÆêÈ. 2 'Thus saith the LORD to me: Make thee bands and bars, and put them upon thy neck;
â  åÀùÑÄìÌÇçÀúÌÈí àÆì-îÆìÆêÀ àÁãåÉí åÀàÆì-îÆìÆêÀ îåÉàÈá, åÀàÆì-îÆìÆêÀ áÌÀðÅé òÇîÌåÉï, åÀàÆì-îÆìÆêÀ öÉø, åÀàÆì-îÆìÆêÀ öÄéãåÉï--áÌÀéÇã îÇìÀàÈëÄéí äÇáÌÈàÄéí éÀøåÌùÑÈìÇÄí, àÆì-öÄãÀ÷ÄéÌÈäåÌ îÆìÆêÀ éÀäåÌãÈä. 3 and send them to the king of Edom, and to the king of Moab, and to the king of the children of Ammon, and to the king of Tyre, and to the king of Zidon, by the hand of the messengers that come to Jerusalem unto Zedekiah king of Judah;
ã  åÀöÄåÌÄéúÈ àÉúÈí, àÆì-àÂãÉðÅéäÆí ìÅàîÉø:  ëÌÉä-àÈîÇø éÀäåÈä öÀáÈàåÉú, àÁìÉäÅé éÄùÒÀøÈàÅì, ëÌÉä úÉàîÀøåÌ, àÆì-àÂãÉðÅéëÆí. 4 and give them a charge unto their masters, saying: Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: Thus shall ye say unto your masters:
ä  àÈðÉëÄé òÈùÒÄéúÄé àÆú-äÈàÈøÆõ, àÆú-äÈàÈãÈí åÀàÆú-äÇáÌÀäÅîÈä àÂùÑÆø òÇì-ôÌÀðÅé äÈàÈøÆõ, áÌÀëÉçÄé äÇâÌÈãåÉì, åÌáÄæÀøåÉòÄé äÇðÌÀèåÌéÈä; åÌðÀúÇúÌÄéäÈ, ìÇàÂùÑÆø éÈùÑÇø áÌÀòÅéðÈé. 5 I have made the earth, the man and the beast that are upon the face of the earth, by My great power and by My outstretched arm; and I give it unto whom it seemeth right unto Me.
å  åÀòÇúÌÈä, àÈðÉëÄé ðÈúÇúÌÄé àÆú-ëÌÈì-äÈàÂøÈöåÉú äÈàÅìÌÆä, áÌÀéÇã ðÀáåÌëÇãÀðÆàöÌÇø îÆìÆêÀ-áÌÈáÆì, òÇáÀãÌÄé; åÀâÇí àÆú-çÇéÌÇú äÇùÌÒÈãÆä, ðÈúÇúÌÄé ìåÉ ìÀòÈáÀãåÉ. 6 And now have I given all these lands into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, My servant; and the beasts of the field also have I given him to serve him.
æ  åÀòÈáÀãåÌ àÉúåÉ ëÌÈì-äÇâÌåÉéÄí, åÀàÆú-áÌÀðåÉ åÀàÆú-áÌÆï-áÌÀðåÉ--òÇã áÌÉà-òÅú àÇøÀöåÉ, âÌÇí-äåÌà, åÀòÈáÀãåÌ áåÉ âÌåÉéÄí øÇáÌÄéí, åÌîÀìÈëÄéí âÌÀãÉìÄéí. 7 And all the nations shall serve him, and his son, and his son's son, until the time of his own land come; and then many nations and great kings shall make him their bondman.
ç  åÀäÈéÈä äÇâÌåÉé åÀäÇîÌÇîÀìÈëÈä, àÂùÑÆø ìÉà-éÇòÇáÀãåÌ àÉúåÉ àÆú-ðÀáåÌëÇãÀðÆàöÌÇø îÆìÆêÀ-áÌÈáÆì, åÀàÅú àÂùÑÆø ìÉà-éÄúÌÅï àÆú-öÇåÌÈàøåÉ, áÌÀòÉì îÆìÆêÀ áÌÈáÆì--áÌÇçÆøÆá åÌáÈøÈòÈá åÌáÇãÌÆáÆø àÆôÀ÷Éã òÇì-äÇâÌåÉé äÇäåÌà, ðÀàËí-éÀäåÈä, òÇã-úÌËîÌÄé àÉúÈí, áÌÀéÈãåÉ. 8 And it shall come to pass, that the nation and the kingdom which will not serve the same Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and that will not put their neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, that nation will I visit, saith the LORD, with the sword, and with the famine, and with the pestilence, until I have consumed them by his hand.
è  åÀàÇúÌÆí àÇì-úÌÄùÑÀîÀòåÌ àÆì-ðÀáÄéàÅéëÆí åÀàÆì-÷ÉñÀîÅéëÆí, åÀàÆì çÂìÉîÉúÅéëÆí, åÀàÆì-òÉðÀðÅéëÆí, åÀàÆì-ëÌÇùÌÑÈôÅéëÆí--àÂùÑÆø-äÅí àÉîÀøÄéí àÂìÅéëÆí, ìÅàîÉø, ìÉà úÇòÇáÀãåÌ, àÆú-îÆìÆêÀ áÌÈáÆì. 9 But as for you, hearken ye not to your prophets, nor to your diviners, nor to your dreams, nor to your soothsayers, nor to your sorcerers, that speak unto you, saying: Ye shall not serve the king of Babylon;
é  ëÌÄé ùÑÆ÷Æø, äÅí ðÄáÌÀàÄéí ìÈëÆí, ìÀîÇòÇï äÇøÀçÄé÷ àÆúÀëÆí îÅòÇì àÇãÀîÇúÀëÆí, åÀäÄãÌÇçÀúÌÄé àÆúÀëÆí åÇàÂáÇãÀúÌÆí. 10 for they prophesy a lie unto you, to remove you far from your land; and that I should drive you out and ye should perish.
éà  åÀäÇâÌåÉé, àÂùÑÆø éÈáÄéà àÆú-öÇåÌÈàøåÉ áÌÀòÉì îÆìÆêÀ-áÌÈáÆì--åÇòÂáÈãåÉ:  åÀäÄðÌÇçÀúÌÄéå òÇì-àÇãÀîÈúåÉ ðÀàËí-éÀäåÈä, åÇòÂáÈãÈäÌ åÀéÈùÑÇá áÌÈäÌ. 11 But the nation that shall bring their neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, and serve him, that nation will I let remain in their own land, saith the LORD; and they shall till it, and dwell therein.'
éá  åÀàÆì-öÄãÀ÷ÄéÌÈä îÆìÆêÀ-éÀäåÌãÈä ãÌÄáÌÇøÀúÌÄé, ëÌÀëÈì-äÇãÌÀáÈøÄéí äÈàÅìÌÆä ìÅàîÉø:  äÈáÄéàåÌ àÆú-öÇåÌÀàøÅéëÆí áÌÀòÉì îÆìÆêÀ-áÌÈáÆì, åÀòÄáÀãåÌ àÉúåÉ åÀòÇîÌåÉ--åÄçÀéåÌ. 12 And I spoke to Zedekiah king of Judah according to all these words, saying: 'Bring your necks under the yoke of the king of Babylon, and serve him and his people, and live.
éâ  ìÈîÌÈä úÈîåÌúåÌ àÇúÌÈä åÀòÇîÌÆêÈ, áÌÇçÆøÆá áÌÈøÈòÈá åÌáÇãÌÈáÆø--ëÌÇàÂùÑÆø, ãÌÄáÌÆø éÀäåÈä, àÆì-äÇâÌåÉé, àÂùÑÆø ìÉà-éÇòÂáÉã àÆú-îÆìÆêÀ áÌÈáÆì. 13 Why will ye die, thou and thy people, by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence, as the LORD hath spoken concerning the nation that will not serve the king of Babylon?
éã  åÀàÇì-úÌÄùÑÀîÀòåÌ àÆì-ãÌÄáÀøÅé äÇðÌÀáÄàÄéí, äÈàÉîÀøÄéí àÂìÅéëÆí ìÅàîÉø, ìÉà úÇòÇáÀãåÌ, àÆú-îÆìÆêÀ áÌÈáÆì:  ëÌÄé ùÑÆ÷Æø, äÅí ðÄáÌÀàÄéí ìÈëÆí. 14 And hearken not unto the words of the prophets that speak unto you, saying: Ye shall not serve the king of Babylon, for they prophesy a lie unto you.
èå  ëÌÄé ìÉà ùÑÀìÇçÀúÌÄéí ðÀàËí-éÀäåÈä, åÀäÅí ðÄáÌÀàÄéí áÌÄùÑÀîÄé ìÇùÌÑÈ÷Æø:  ìÀîÇòÇï äÇãÌÄéçÄé àÆúÀëÆí, åÇàÂáÇãÀúÌÆí--àÇúÌÆí, åÀäÇðÌÀáÄàÄéí äÇðÌÄáÌÀàÄéí ìÈëÆí. 15 For I have not sent them, saith the LORD, and they prophesy falsely in My name; that I might drive you out, and that ye might perish, ye, and the prophets that prophesy unto you.'
èæ  åÀàÆì-äÇëÌÉäÂðÄéí åÀàÆì-ëÌÈì-äÈòÈí äÇæÌÆä ãÌÄáÌÇøÀúÌÄé ìÅàîÉø, ëÌÉä àÈîÇø éÀäåÈä, àÇì-úÌÄùÑÀîÀòåÌ àÆì-ãÌÄáÀøÅé ðÀáÄéàÅéëÆí äÇðÌÄáÌÀàÄéí ìÈëÆí ìÅàîÉø, äÄðÌÅä ëÀìÅé áÅéú-éÀäåÈä îåÌùÑÈáÄéí îÄáÌÈáÆìÈä òÇúÌÈä îÀäÅøÈä:  ëÌÄé ùÑÆ÷Æø, äÅîÌÈä ðÄáÌÀàÄéí ìÈëÆí. 16 Also I spoke to the priests and to all this people, saying: 'Thus saith the LORD: Hearken not to the words of your prophets that prophesy unto you, saying: Behold, the vessels of the LORD'S house shall now shortly be brought back from Babylon; for they prophesy a lie unto you.
éæ  àÇì-úÌÄùÑÀîÀòåÌ àÂìÅéäÆí, òÄáÀãåÌ àÆú-îÆìÆêÀ-áÌÈáÆì åÄçÀéåÌ:  ìÈîÌÈä úÄäÀéÆä äÈòÄéø äÇæÌÉàú, çÈøÀáÌÈä. 17 Hearken not unto them; serve the king of Babylon, and live; wherefore should this city become desolate?
éç  åÀàÄí-ðÀáÄàÄéí äÅí, åÀàÄí-éÅùÑ ãÌÀáÇø-éÀäåÈä àÄúÌÈí--éÄôÀâÌÀòåÌ-ðÈà, áÌÇéäåÈä öÀáÈàåÉú, ìÀáÄìÀúÌÄé-áÉàåÌ äÇëÌÅìÄéí äÇðÌåÉúÈøÄéí áÌÀáÅéú-éÀäåÈä åÌáÅéú îÆìÆêÀ éÀäåÌãÈä åÌáÄéøåÌùÑÈìÇÄí, áÌÈáÆìÈä. 18 But if they be prophets, and if the word of the LORD be with them, let them now make intercession to the LORD of hosts, that the vessels which are left in the house of the LORD, and in the house of the king of Judah, and at Jerusalem, go not to Babylon.
éè  ëÌÄé ëÉä àÈîÇø, éÀäåÈä öÀáÈàåÉú, àÆì-äÈòÇîÌËãÄéí, åÀòÇì-äÇéÌÈí åÀòÇì-äÇîÌÀëÉðåÉú--åÀòÇì éÆúÆø äÇëÌÅìÄéí, äÇðÌåÉúÈøÄéí áÌÈòÄéø äÇæÌÉàú. 19 For thus saith the LORD of hosts concerning the pillars, and concerning the sea, and concerning the bases, and concerning the residue of the vessels that remain in this city,
ë  àÂùÑÆø ìÉà-ìÀ÷ÈçÈí, ðÀáåÌëÇãÀðÆàöÌÇø îÆìÆêÀ áÌÈáÆì, áÌÇâÀìåÉúåÉ àÆú-éëåðéä (éÀëÈðÀéÈä) áÆï-éÀäåÉéÈ÷Äéí îÆìÆêÀ-éÀäåÌãÈä îÄéøåÌùÑÈìÇÄí, áÌÈáÆìÈä; åÀàÅú ëÌÈì-çÉøÅé éÀäåÌãÈä, åÄéøåÌùÑÈìÈÄí. 20 which Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon took not, when he carried away captive Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim, king of Judah, from Jerusalem to Babylon, and all the nobles of Judah and Jerusalem;
ëà  ëÌÄé ëÉä àÈîÇø éÀäåÈä öÀáÈàåÉú, àÁìÉäÅé éÄùÒÀøÈàÅì--òÇì-äÇëÌÅìÄéí, äÇðÌåÉúÈøÄéí áÌÅéú éÀäåÈä, åÌáÅéú îÆìÆêÀ-éÀäåÌãÈä, åÄéøåÌùÑÈìÈÄí. 21 yea, thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, concerning the vessels that remain in the house of the LORD, and in the house of the king of Judah, and at Jerusalem:
ëá  áÌÈáÆìÈä éåÌáÈàåÌ, åÀùÑÈîÌÈä éÄäÀéåÌ--òÇã éåÉí ôÌÈ÷ÀãÄé àÉúÈí, ðÀàËí-éÀäåÈä, åÀäÇòÂìÄéúÄéí åÇäÂùÑÄéáÉúÄéí, àÆì-äÇîÌÈ÷åÉí äÇæÌÆä.  {ô} 22 They shall be carried to Babylon, and there shall they be, until the day that I remember them, saith the LORD, and bring them up, and restore them to this place.' {P}
