à  åÇéÀäÄé, àÇçÇø äÇãÌÀáÈøÄéí äÈàÅìÌÆä, çÈèÀàåÌ îÇùÑÀ÷Åä îÆìÆêÀ-îÄöÀøÇéÄí, åÀäÈàÉôÆä--ìÇàÂãÉðÅéäÆí, ìÀîÆìÆêÀ îÄöÀøÈéÄí. 1 And it came to pass after these things, that the butler of the king of Egypt and his baker offended their lord the king of Egypt.
á  åÇéÌÄ÷ÀöÉó ôÌÇøÀòÉä, òÇì ùÑÀðÅé ñÈøÄéñÈéå--òÇì ùÒÇø äÇîÌÇùÑÀ÷Äéí, åÀòÇì ùÒÇø äÈàåÉôÄéí. 2 And Pharaoh was wroth against his two officers, against the chief of the butlers, and against the chief of the bakers.
â  åÇéÌÄúÌÅï àÉúÈí áÌÀîÄùÑÀîÇø, áÌÅéú ùÒÇø äÇèÌÇáÌÈçÄéí--àÆì-áÌÅéú äÇñÌÉäÇø:  îÀ÷åÉí, àÂùÑÆø éåÉñÅó àÈñåÌø ùÑÈí. 3 And he put them in ward in the house of the captain of the guard, into the prison, the place where Joseph was bound.
ã  åÇéÌÄôÀ÷Éã ùÒÇø äÇèÌÇáÌÈçÄéí àÆú-éåÉñÅó, àÄúÌÈí--åÇéÀùÑÈøÆú àÉúÈí; åÇéÌÄäÀéåÌ éÈîÄéí, áÌÀîÄùÑÀîÈø. 4 And the captain of the guard charged Joseph to be with them, and he ministered unto them; and they continued a season in ward.
ä  åÇéÌÇçÇìÀîåÌ çÂìåÉí ùÑÀðÅéäÆí àÄéùÑ çÂìÉîåÉ, áÌÀìÇéÀìÈä àÆçÈã--àÄéùÑ, ëÌÀôÄúÀøåÉï çÂìÉîåÉ:  äÇîÌÇùÑÀ÷Æä åÀäÈàÉôÆä, àÂùÑÆø ìÀîÆìÆêÀ îÄöÀøÇéÄí, àÂùÑÆø àÂñåÌøÄéí, áÌÀáÅéú äÇñÌÉäÇø. 5 And they dreamed a dream both of them, each man his dream, in one night, each man according to the interpretation of his dream, the butler and the baker of the king of Egypt, who were bound in the prison.
å  åÇéÌÈáÉà àÂìÅéäÆí éåÉñÅó, áÌÇáÌÉ÷Æø; åÇéÌÇøÀà àÉúÈí, åÀäÄðÌÈí æÉòÂôÄéí. 6 And Joseph came in unto them in the morning, and saw them, and, behold, they were sad.
æ  åÇéÌÄùÑÀàÇì àÆú-ñÀøÄéñÅé ôÇøÀòÉä, àÂùÑÆø àÄúÌåÉ áÀîÄùÑÀîÇø áÌÅéú àÂãÉðÈéå--ìÅàîÉø:  îÇãÌåÌòÇ ôÌÀðÅéëÆí øÈòÄéí, äÇéÌåÉí. 7 And he asked Pharaoh's officers that were with him in the ward of his master's house, saying: 'Wherefore look ye so sad to-day?'
ç  åÇéÌÉàîÀøåÌ àÅìÈéå--çÂìåÉí çÈìÇîÀðåÌ, åÌôÉúÅø àÅéï àÉúåÉ; åÇéÌÉàîÆø àÂìÅäÆí éåÉñÅó, äÂìåÉà ìÅàìÉäÄéí ôÌÄúÀøÉðÄéí--ñÇôÌÀøåÌ-ðÈà, ìÄé. 8 And they said unto him: 'We have dreamed a dream, and there is none that can interpret it.' And Joseph said unto them: 'Do not interpretations belong to God? tell it me, I pray you.'

ëà  åÇéÌÈùÑÆá àÆú-ùÒÇø äÇîÌÇùÑÀ÷Äéí, òÇì-îÇùÑÀ÷ÅäåÌ; åÇéÌÄúÌÅï äÇëÌåÉñ, òÇì-ëÌÇó ôÌÇøÀòÉä. 21 And he restored the chief butler back unto his butlership; and he gave the cup into Pharaoh's hand.
ëá  åÀàÅú ùÒÇø äÈàÉôÄéí, úÌÈìÈä:  ëÌÇàÂùÑÆø ôÌÈúÇø ìÈäÆí, éåÉñÅó. 22 But he hanged the chief baker, as Joseph had interpreted to them.
