à  åÇéÌÄùÑÀîÇò, àÆú-ãÌÄáÀøÅé áÀðÅé-ìÈáÈï ìÅàîÉø, ìÈ÷Çç éÇòÂ÷Éá, àÅú ëÌÈì-àÂùÑÆø ìÀàÈáÄéðåÌ; åÌîÅàÂùÑÆø ìÀàÈáÄéðåÌ--òÈùÒÈä, àÅú ëÌÈì-äÇëÌÈáÉã äÇæÌÆä. 1 And he heard the words of Laban's sons, saying: 'Jacob hath taken away all that was our father's; and of that which was our father's hath he gotten all this wealth.'
á  åÇéÌÇøÀà éÇòÂ÷Éá, àÆú-ôÌÀðÅé ìÈáÈï; åÀäÄðÌÅä àÅéðÆðÌåÌ òÄîÌåÉ, ëÌÄúÀîåÉì ùÑÄìÀùÑåÉí. 2 And Jacob beheld the countenance of Laban, and, behold, it was not toward him as beforetime.

ä  åÇéÌÉàîÆø ìÈäÆï, øÉàÆä àÈðÉëÄé àÆú-ôÌÀðÅé àÂáÄéëÆï, ëÌÄé-àÅéðÆðÌåÌ àÅìÇé, ëÌÄúÀîÉì ùÑÄìÀùÑÉí; åÅàìÉäÅé àÈáÄé, äÈéÈä òÄîÌÈãÄé. 5 and said unto them: 'I see your father's countenance, that it is not toward me as beforetime; but the God of my father hath been with me.
å  åÀàÇúÌÅðÈä, éÀãÇòÀúÌÆï:  ëÌÄé, áÌÀëÈì-ëÌÉçÄé, òÈáÇãÀúÌÄé, àÆú-àÂáÄéëÆï. 6 And ye know that with all my power I have served your father.

è  åÇéÌÇöÌÅì àÁìÉäÄéí àÆú-îÄ÷ÀðÅä àÂáÄéëÆí, åÇéÌÄúÌÆï-ìÄé. 9 Thus God hath taken away the cattle of your father, and given them to me.

éè  åÀìÈáÈï äÈìÇêÀ, ìÄâÀæÉæ àÆú-öÉàðåÉ; åÇúÌÄâÀðÉá øÈçÅì, àÆú-äÇúÌÀøÈôÄéí àÂùÑÆø ìÀàÈáÄéäÈ. 19 Now Laban was gone to shear his sheep. And Rachel stole the teraphim that were her father's.

ëá  åÇéÌËâÌÇã ìÀìÈáÈï, áÌÇéÌåÉí äÇùÌÑÀìÄéùÑÄé:  ëÌÄé áÈøÇç, éÇòÂ÷Éá. 22 And it was told Laban on the third day that Jacob was fled.

ìà  åÇéÌÇòÇï éÇòÂ÷Éá, åÇéÌÉàîÆø ìÀìÈáÈï:  ëÌÄé éÈøÅàúÄé--ëÌÄé àÈîÇøÀúÌÄé, ôÌÆï-úÌÄâÀæÉì àÆú-áÌÀðåÉúÆéêÈ îÅòÄîÌÄé. 31 And Jacob answered and said to Laban: 'Because I was afraid; for I said: Lest thou shouldest take thy daughters from me by force.
ìá  òÄí àÂùÑÆø úÌÄîÀöÈà àÆú-àÁìÉäÆéêÈ, ìÉà éÄçÀéÆä--ðÆâÆã àÇçÅéðåÌ äÇëÌÆø-ìÀêÈ îÈä òÄîÌÈãÄé, åÀ÷Çç-ìÈêÀ; åÀìÉà-éÈãÇò éÇòÂ÷Éá, ëÌÄé øÈçÅì âÌÀðÈáÈúÇí. 32 With whomsoever thou findest thy gods, he shall not live; before our brethren discern thou what is thine with me, and take it to thee.'--For Jacob knew not that Rachel had stolen them.--
