2 Kings Chapter 15 îÀìÈëÄéí á

à  áÌÄùÑÀðÇú òÆùÒÀøÄéí åÈùÑÆáÇò ùÑÈðÈä, ìÀéÈøÈáÀòÈí îÆìÆêÀ éÄùÒÀøÈàÅì, îÈìÇêÀ òÂæÇøÀéÈä áÆï-àÂîÇöÀéÈä, îÆìÆêÀ éÀäåÌãÈä. 1 In the twenty and seventh year of Jeroboam king of Israel began Azariah son of Amaziah king of Judah to reign.
á  áÌÆï-ùÑÅùÑ òÆùÒÀøÅä ùÑÈðÈä, äÈéÈä áÀîÈìÀëåÉ, åÇçÂîÄùÌÑÄéí åÌùÑÀúÌÇéÄí ùÑÈðÈä, îÈìÇêÀ áÌÄéøåÌùÑÈìÈÄí; åÀùÑÅí àÄîÌåÉ, éÀëÈìÀéÈäåÌ îÄéøåÌùÑÈìÈÄí. 2 Sixteen years old was he when he began to reign; and he reigned two and fifty years in Jerusalem; and his mother's name was Jecoliah of Jerusalem.
â  åÇéÌÇòÇùÒ äÇéÌÈùÑÈø, áÌÀòÅéðÅé éÀäåÈä, ëÌÀëÉì àÂùÑÆø-òÈùÒÈä, àÂîÇöÀéÈäåÌ àÈáÄéå. 3 And he did that which was right in the eyes of the LORD, according to all that his father Amaziah had done.
ã  øÇ÷ äÇáÌÈîåÉú, ìÉà-ñÈøåÌ:  òåÉã äÈòÈí îÀæÇáÌÀçÄéí åÌîÀ÷ÇèÌÀøÄéí, áÌÇáÌÈîåÉú. 4 Howbeit the high places were not taken away; the people still sacrificed and offered in the high places.
ä  åÇéÀðÇâÌÇò éÀäåÈä àÆú-äÇîÌÆìÆêÀ, åÇéÀäÄé îÀöÉøÈò òÇã-éåÉí îÉúåÉ, åÇéÌÅùÑÆá, áÌÀáÅéú äÇçÈôÀùÑÄéú; åÀéåÉúÈí áÌÆï-äÇîÌÆìÆêÀ òÇì-äÇáÌÇéÄú, ùÑÉôÅè àÆú-òÇí äÈàÈøÆõ. 5 And the LORD smote the king, so that he was a leper unto the day of his death, and dwelt in a house set apart. And Jotham the king's son was over the household, judging the people of the land.
å  åÀéÆúÆø ãÌÄáÀøÅé òÂæÇøÀéÈäåÌ, åÀëÈì-àÂùÑÆø òÈùÒÈä:  äÂìÉà-äÅí ëÌÀúåÌáÄéí, òÇì-ñÅôÆø ãÌÄáÀøÅé äÇéÌÈîÄéí--ìÀîÇìÀëÅé éÀäåÌãÈä. 6 Now the rest of the acts of Azariah, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
æ  åÇéÌÄùÑÀëÌÇá òÂæÇøÀéÈä òÄí-àÂáÉúÈéå, åÇéÌÄ÷ÀáÌÀøåÌ àÉúåÉ òÄí-àÂáÉúÈéå áÌÀòÄéø ãÌÈåÄã; åÇéÌÄîÀìÉêÀ éåÉúÈí áÌÀðåÉ, úÌÇçÀúÌÈéå.  {ô} 7 And Azariah slept with his fathers; and they buried him with his fathers in the city of David; and Jotham his son reigned in his stead. {P}
ç  áÌÄùÑÀðÇú ùÑÀìÉùÑÄéí åÌùÑÀîÉðÆä ùÑÈðÈä, ìÇòÂæÇøÀéÈäåÌ îÆìÆêÀ éÀäåÌãÈä:  îÈìÇêÀ æÀëÇøÀéÈäåÌ áÆï-éÈøÈáÀòÈí òÇì-éÄùÒÀøÈàÅì, áÌÀùÑÉîÀøåÉï--ùÑÄùÌÑÈä çÃãÈùÑÄéí. 8 In the thirty and eighth year of Azariah king of Judah did Zechariah the son of Jeroboam reign over Israel in Samaria six months.
è  åÇéÌÇòÇùÒ äÈøÇò áÌÀòÅéðÅé éÀäåÈä, ëÌÇàÂùÑÆø òÈùÒåÌ àÂáÉúÈéå:  ìÉà ñÈø, îÅçÇèÌÉàåú éÈøÈáÀòÈí áÌÆï-ðÀáÈè, àÂùÑÆø äÆçÁèÄéà, àÆú-éÄùÒÀøÈàÅì. 9 And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, as his fathers had done; he departed not from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, wherewith he made Israel to sin.
é  åÇéÌÄ÷ÀùÑÉø òÈìÈéå ùÑÇìÌËí áÌÆï-éÈáÅùÑ, åÇéÌÇëÌÅäåÌ ÷ÈáÈì-òÈí åÇéÀîÄéúÅäåÌ; åÇéÌÄîÀìÉêÀ, úÌÇçÀúÌÈéå. 10 And Shallum the son of Jabesh conspired against him, and smote him before the people, and slew him, and reigned in his stead.
éà  åÀéÆúÆø, ãÌÄáÀøÅé æÀëÇøÀéÈä:  äÄðÌÈí ëÌÀúåÌáÄéí, òÇì-ñÅôÆø ãÌÄáÀøÅé äÇéÌÈîÄéí--ìÀîÇìÀëÅé éÄùÒÀøÈàÅì. 11 Now the rest of the acts of Zechariah, behold, they are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel.
éá  äåÌà ãÀáÇø-éÀäåÈä, àÂùÑÆø ãÌÄáÌÆø àÆì-éÅäåÌà ìÅàîÉø, áÌÀðÅé øÀáÄéòÄéí, éÅùÑÀáåÌ ìÀêÈ òÇì-ëÌÄñÌÅà éÄùÒÀøÈàÅì; åÇéÀäÄé-ëÅï.  {ô} 12 This was the word of the LORD which He spoke unto Jehu, saying: 'Thy sons to the fourth generation shall sit upon the throne of Israel.' And so it came to pass. {P}
éâ  ùÑÇìÌåÌí áÌÆï-éÈáÅéùÑ, îÈìÇêÀ, áÌÄùÑÀðÇú ùÑÀìÉùÑÄéí åÈúÅùÑÇò ùÑÈðÈä, ìÀòËæÌÄéÌÈä îÆìÆêÀ éÀäåÌãÈä; åÇéÌÄîÀìÉêÀ éÆøÇç-éÈîÄéí, áÌÀùÑÉîÀøåÉï. 13 Shallum the son of Jabesh began to reign in the nine and thirtieth year of Uzziah king of Judah; and he reigned the space of a month in Samaria.
éã  åÇéÌÇòÇì îÀðÇçÅí áÌÆï-âÌÈãÄé îÄúÌÄøÀöÈä, åÇéÌÈáÉà ùÑÉîÀøåÉï, åÇéÌÇêÀ àÆú-ùÑÇìÌåÌí áÌÆï-éÈáÅéùÑ, áÌÀùÑÉîÀøåÉï; åÇéÀîÄéúÅäåÌ, åÇéÌÄîÀìÉêÀ úÌÇçÀúÌÈéå. 14 And Menahem the son of Gadi went up from Tirzah, and came to Samaria, and smote Shallum the son of Jabesh in Samaria, and slew him, and reigned in his stead.
èå  åÀéÆúÆø ãÌÄáÀøÅé ùÑÇìÌåÌí, åÀ÷ÄùÑÀøåÉ àÂùÑÆø ÷ÈùÑÈø:  äÄðÌÈí ëÌÀúåÌáÄéí, òÇì-ñÅôÆø ãÌÄáÀøÅé äÇéÌÈîÄéí--ìÀîÇìÀëÅé éÄùÒÀøÈàÅì.  {ñ} 15 Now the rest of the acts of Shallum, and his conspiracy which he made, behold, they are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel. {S}
èæ  àÈæ éÇëÌÆä-îÀðÇçÅí àÆú-úÌÄôÀñÇç åÀàÆú-ëÌÈì-àÂùÑÆø-áÌÈäÌ åÀàÆú-âÌÀáåÌìÆéäÈ, îÄúÌÄøÀöÈä--ëÌÄé ìÉà ôÈúÇç, åÇéÌÇêÀ; àÅú ëÌÈì-äÆäÈøåÉúÆéäÈ, áÌÄ÷ÌÅòÇ.  {ô} 16 Then Menahem smote Tiphsah, and all that were therein, and the borders thereof, from Tirzah; because they opened not to him, therefore he smote it; and all the women therein that were with child he ripped up. {P}
éæ  áÌÄùÑÀðÇú ùÑÀìÉùÑÄéí åÈúÅùÑÇò ùÑÈðÈä, ìÇòÂæÇøÀéÈä îÆìÆêÀ éÀäåÌãÈä:  îÈìÇêÀ îÀðÇçÅí áÌÆï-âÌÈãÄé òÇì-éÄùÒÀøÈàÅì, òÆùÒÆø ùÑÈðÄéí--áÌÀùÑÉîÀøåÉï. 17 In the nine and thirtieth year of Azariah king of Judah began Menahem the son of Gadi to reign over Israel, and reigned ten years in Samaria.
éç  åÇéÌÇòÇùÒ äÈøÇò, áÌÀòÅéðÅé éÀäåÈä:  ìÉà ñÈø îÅòÇì çÇèÌÉàåú éÈøÈáÀòÈí áÌÆï-ðÀáÈè, àÂùÑÆø-äÆçÁèÄéà àÆú-éÄùÒÀøÈàÅì--ëÌÈì-éÈîÈéå. 18 And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD; he departed not all his days from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, wherewith he made Israel to sin.
éè  áÌÈà ôåÌì îÆìÆêÀ-àÇùÌÑåÌø, òÇì-äÈàÈøÆõ, åÇéÌÄúÌÅï îÀðÇçÅí ìÀôåÌì, àÆìÆó ëÌÄëÌÇø-ëÌÈñÆó--ìÄäÀéåÉú éÈãÈéå àÄúÌåÉ, ìÀäÇçÂæÄé÷ äÇîÌÇîÀìÈëÈä áÌÀéÈãåÉ. 19 There came against the land Pul the king of Assyria; and Menahem gave Pul a thousand talents of silver, that his hand might be with him to confirm the kingdom in his hand.
ë  åÇéÌÉöÅà îÀðÇçÅí àÆú-äÇëÌÆñÆó òÇì-éÄùÒÀøÈàÅì, òÇì ëÌÈì-âÌÄáÌåÉøÅé äÇçÇéÄì, ìÈúÅú ìÀîÆìÆêÀ àÇùÌÑåÌø, çÂîÄùÌÑÄéí ùÑÀ÷ÈìÄéí ëÌÆñÆó ìÀàÄéùÑ àÆçÈã; åÇéÌÈùÑÈá îÆìÆêÀ àÇùÌÑåÌø, åÀìÉà-òÈîÇã ùÑÈí áÌÈàÈøÆõ. 20 And Menahem exacted the money of Israel, even of all the mighty men of wealth, of each man fifty shekels of silver, to give to the king of Assyria. So the king of Assyria turned back, and stayed not there in the land.
ëà  åÀéÆúÆø ãÌÄáÀøÅé îÀðÇçÅí, åÀëÈì-àÂùÑÆø òÈùÒÈä:  äÂìåÉà-äÅí ëÌÀúåÌáÄéí, òÇì-ñÅôÆø ãÌÄáÀøÅé äÇéÌÈîÄéí--ìÀîÇìÀëÅé éÄùÒÀøÈàÅì. 21 Now the rest of the acts of Menahem, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?
ëá  åÇéÌÄùÑÀëÌÇá îÀðÇçÅí, òÄí-àÂáÉúÈéå; åÇéÌÄîÀìÉêÀ ôÌÀ÷ÇçÀéÈä áÀðåÉ, úÌÇçÀúÌÈéå.  {ô} 22 And Menahem slept with his fathers; and Pekahiah his son reigned in his stead. {P}
ëâ  áÌÄùÑÀðÇú çÂîÄùÌÑÄéí ùÑÈðÈä, ìÇòÂæÇøÀéÈä îÆìÆêÀ éÀäåÌãÈä:  îÈìÇêÀ ôÌÀ÷ÇçÀéÈä áÆï-îÀðÇçÅí òÇì-éÄùÒÀøÈàÅì, áÌÀùÑÉîÀøåÉï--ùÑÀðÈúÈéÄí. 23 In the fiftieth year of Azariah king of Judah Pekahiah the son of Menahem began to reign over Israel in Samaria, and reigned two years.
ëã  åÇéÌÇòÇùÒ äÈøÇò, áÌÀòÅéðÅé éÀäåÈä:  ìÉà ñÈø, îÅçÇèÌÉàåú éÈøÈáÀòÈí áÌÆï-ðÀáÈè, àÂùÑÆø äÆçÁèÄéà, àÆú-éÄùÒÀøÈàÅì. 24 And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD; he departed not from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, wherewith he made Israel to sin.
ëä  åÇéÌÄ÷ÀùÑÉø òÈìÈéå ôÌÆ÷Çç áÌÆï-øÀîÇìÀéÈäåÌ ùÑÈìÄéùÑåÉ, åÇéÌÇëÌÅäåÌ áÀùÑÉîÀøåÉï áÌÀàÇøÀîåÉï áÌÅéú-îìê (äÇîÌÆìÆêÀ) àÆú-àÇøÀâÌÉá åÀàÆú-äÈàÇøÀéÅä, åÀòÄîÌåÉ çÂîÄùÌÑÄéí àÄéùÑ, îÄáÌÀðÅé âÄìÀòÈãÄéí; åÇéÀîÄúÅäåÌ, åÇéÌÄîÀìÉêÀ úÌÇçÀúÌÈéå. 25 And Pekah the son of Remaliah, his captain, conspired against him, and smote him in Samaria, in the castle of the king's house, by Argob and by Arieh; and with him were fifty men of the Gileadites; and he slew him, and reigned in his stead.
ëå  åÀéÆúÆø ãÌÄáÀøÅé ôÀ÷ÇçÀéÈä, åÀëÈì-àÂùÑÆø òÈùÒÈä:  äÄðÌÈí ëÌÀúåÌáÄéí, òÇì-ñÅôÆø ãÌÄáÀøÅé äÇéÌÈîÄéí--ìÀîÇìÀëÅé éÄùÒÀøÈàÅì.  {ô} 26 Now the rest of the acts of Pekahiah, and all that he did, behold, they are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel. {P}
ëæ  áÌÄùÑÀðÇú çÂîÄùÌÑÄéí åÌùÑÀúÌÇéÄí ùÑÈðÈä, ìÇòÂæÇøÀéÈä îÆìÆêÀ éÀäåÌãÈä:  îÈìÇêÀ ôÌÆ÷Çç áÌÆï-øÀîÇìÀéÈäåÌ òÇì-éÄùÒÀøÈàÅì, áÌÀùÑÉîÀøåÉï--òÆùÒÀøÄéí ùÑÈðÈä. 27 In the two and fiftieth year of Azariah king of Judah Pekah the son of Remaliah began to reign over Israel in Samaria, and reigned twenty years.
ëç  åÇéÌÇòÇùÒ äÈøÇò, áÌÀòÅéðÅé éÀäåÈä:  ìÉà ñÈø, îÄï-çÇèÌÉàåú éÈøÈáÀòÈí áÌÆï-ðÀáÈè, àÂùÑÆø äÆçÁèÄéà, àÆú-éÄùÒÀøÈàÅì. 28 And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD; he departed not from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, wherewith he made Israel to sin.
ëè  áÌÄéîÅé ôÌÆ÷Çç îÆìÆêÀ-éÄùÒÀøÈàÅì, áÌÈà úÌÄâÀìÇú ôÌÄìÀàÆñÆø îÆìÆêÀ àÇùÌÑåÌø, åÇéÌÄ÷ÌÇç àÆú-òÄéÌåÉï åÀàÆú-àÈáÅì áÌÅéú-îÇòÂëÈä åÀàÆú-éÈðåÉçÇ åÀàÆú-÷ÆãÆùÑ åÀàÆú-çÈöåÉø åÀàÆú-äÇâÌÄìÀòÈã åÀàÆú-äÇâÌÈìÄéìÈä, ëÌÉì àÆøÆõ ðÇôÀúÌÈìÄé; åÇéÌÇâÀìÅí, àÇùÌÑåÌøÈä. 29 In the days of Pekah king of Israel came Tiglath-pileser king of Assyria, and took Ijon, and Abel-beth-maacah, and Janoah, and Kedesh, and Hazor, and Gilead, and Galilee, all the land of Naphtali; and he carried them captive to Assyria.
ì  åÇéÌÄ÷ÀùÑÈø-÷ÆùÑÆø äåÉùÑÅòÇ áÌÆï-àÅìÈä, òÇì-ôÌÆ÷Çç áÌÆï-øÀîÇìÀéÈäåÌ, åÇéÌÇëÌÅäåÌ åÇéÀîÄéúÅäåÌ, åÇéÌÄîÀìÉêÀ úÌÇçÀúÌÈéå--áÌÄùÑÀðÇú òÆùÒÀøÄéí, ìÀéåÉúÈí áÌÆï-òËæÌÄéÌÈä. 30 And Hoshea the son of Elah made a conspiracy against Pekah the son of Remaliah, and smote him, and slew him, and reigned in his stead, in the twentieth year of Jotham the son of Uzziah.
ìà  åÀéÆúÆø ãÌÄáÀøÅé-ôÆ÷Çç, åÀëÈì-àÂùÑÆø òÈùÒÈä:  äÄðÌÈí ëÌÀúåÌáÄéí, òÇì-ñÅôÆø ãÌÄáÀøÅé äÇéÌÈîÄéí--ìÀîÇìÀëÅé éÄùÒÀøÈàÅì.  {ô} 31 Now the rest of the acts of Pekah, and all that he did, behold, they are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel. {P}
ìá  áÌÄùÑÀðÇú ùÑÀúÌÇéÄí, ìÀôÆ÷Çç áÌÆï-øÀîÇìÀéÈäåÌ îÆìÆêÀ éÄùÒÀøÈàÅì, îÈìÇêÀ éåÉúÈí áÌÆï-òËæÌÄéÌÈäåÌ, îÆìÆêÀ éÀäåÌãÈä. 32 In the second year of Pekah the son of Remaliah king of Israel began Jotham the son of Uzziah king of Judah to reign.
ìâ  áÌÆï-òÆùÒÀøÄéí åÀçÈîÅùÑ ùÑÈðÈä, äÈéÈä áÀîÈìÀëåÉ, åÀùÑÅùÑ-òÆùÒÀøÅä ùÑÈðÈä, îÈìÇêÀ áÌÄéøåÌùÑÈìÈÄí; åÀùÑÅí àÄîÌåÉ, éÀøåÌùÑÈà áÌÇú-öÈãåÉ÷. 33 Five and twenty years old was he when he began to reign; and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem; and his mother's name was Jerusha the daughter of Zadok.
ìã  åÇéÌÇòÇùÒ äÇéÌÈùÑÈø, áÌÀòÅéðÅé éÀäåÈä:  ëÌÀëÉì àÂùÑÆø-òÈùÒÈä òËæÌÄéÌÈäåÌ àÈáÄéå, òÈùÒÈä. 34 And he did that which was right in the eyes of the LORD; he did according to all that his father Uzziah had done.
ìä  øÇ÷ äÇáÌÈîåÉú, ìÉà ñÈøåÌ--òåÉã äÈòÈí îÀæÇáÌÀçÄéí åÌîÀ÷ÇèÌÀøÄéí, áÌÇáÌÈîåÉú; äåÌà, áÌÈðÈä àÆú-ùÑÇòÇø áÌÅéú-éÀäåÈä--äÈòÆìÀéåÉï. 35 Howbeit the high places were not taken away; the people still sacrificed and offered in the high places. He built the upper gate of the house of the LORD.
ìå  åÀéÆúÆø ãÌÄáÀøÅé éåÉúÈí, àÂùÑÆø òÈùÒÈä:  äÂìÉà-äÅí ëÌÀúåÌáÄéí, òÇì-ñÅôÆø ãÌÄáÀøÅé äÇéÌÈîÄéí--ìÀîÇìÀëÅé éÀäåÌãÈä. 36 Now the rest of the acts of Jotham, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
ìæ  áÌÇéÌÈîÄéí äÈäÅí--äÅçÅì éÀäåÈä ìÀäÇùÑÀìÄéçÇ áÌÄéäåÌãÈä, øÀöÄéï îÆìÆêÀ àÂøÈí; åÀàÅú, ôÌÆ÷Çç áÌÆï-øÀîÇìÀéÈäåÌ. 37 In those days the LORD began to send against Judah Rezin the king of Aram, and Pekah the son of Remaliah.
ìç  åÇéÌÄùÑÀëÌÇá éåÉúÈí, òÄí-àÂáÉúÈéå, åÇéÌÄ÷ÌÈáÅø òÄí-àÂáÉúÈéå, áÌÀòÄéø ãÌÈåÄã àÈáÄéå; åÇéÌÄîÀìÉêÀ àÈçÈæ áÌÀðåÉ, úÌÇçÀúÌÈéå.  {ô} 38 And Jotham slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David his father; and Ahaz his son reigned in his stead. {P}
